Sadly, "Eclipse: The 8-Bit Interactive Game" is not yet available for the iPhone. A few new launches from GameHouse, however, have made it to the App Store, and "The Twilight Saga: Memory Quest" and "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Movie Game" are among them.
"The Twilight Saga has captivated a massive worldwide audience, and now fans of all ages can enjoy one of the most popular entertainment franchises of all time on their mobile phones as they look forward to the next installment of this phenomenally successful series of films," GameHouse chief revenue officer Matt Hulett said in a press release. "This is another top-quality license that we're proud to feature in our broad portfolio of award-winning games, and we look forward to continuing the Twilight Saga journey along with all of the film series' fans."
An 8-bit RPG still seems like the best way to bring the "Twilight" series to life interactively to me, but if you happen to have a voracious appetite for the saga's mythos and trivia, there are probably a few of these games that will stimulate your gaming fangs. In fact, I'm sure some of these releases were on iPhones in that tent city out in L.A. leading up to the "Eclipse" release.
Have you tried out any of GameHouse's "Twilight" games for iPhone? Do you think you know anywhere near enough "Twilight" trivia to succeed at their movie apps? Share your opinions in the comment section below.
