Backstage Breaking Dawn Blowup After “Ellen” Appearance
It must be frustrating for OK! magazine to be in the dark all the time.
The tabloid has wrongly claimed (more than once) that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were engaged, fabricated a pregnancy for Stewart, and now alleges that there was a backstage blowup between Pattinson and Taylor Lautner after the Breaking Dawn cast appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last month.
According to OK!, Pattinson’s “temper flared after Taylor and Kristen became too chummy” during their interview.
Once the cameras stopped rolling, Pattinson allegedly “hit the roof,” says a so-called “insider,” who claims the actor told Stewart and Lautner that “their behavior made him look stupid.”
This “insider” explains, “He’s the clear fan favorite, but Rob has always felt threatened by Taylor. So seeing him and Kristen fawning all over each other was a trigger. He thought it was excessive, insensitive and that Kristen was enjoying making him jealous.”
Pattinson then supposedly told Lautner “to back off Kristen and find his own girlfriend.”
We kind of hoped that with the Twilight series winding down, so would these tired old rumors about jealousy among its biggest three stars.
Gossip Cop was the first outlet to share exclusive details from that “Ellen” taping, and our insiders – who actually have a clue – laughed off the OK! report.
We’re told Pattinson and Lautner could not have been friendlier to each other behind the scenes, and that there was no fighting whatsoever among the pair and Stewart.

Im Sorry but why wouldn't you go for the hands? The only rule was no face/head, no one has fingers like Rob, they are long and great for music. But she is a lucky girl for getting to pat down Rob.

R-Patz’s New Haircut Finally Revealed On ‘Ellen!’
First Rob Pattinson hid his hair in a baseball hat before the show… and now that it’s revealed, it looks just like Ellen’s!
Robert Pattinson was in the Ellen building May 18, and all anyone could talk about was his new quasi-buzz cut!The Twilight hunk was so relaxed backstage that he wasn’t aware of the mass hysteria he was causing by simply wearing a hat! Interns and staffers were told ahead of time not ask for photos or autographs, but lurked around hoping Rob, 24, would take off the ball cap while he filmed the segment that airs today, May 19.
“I couldn’t believe it,” a show insider confided to HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “It felt like a birth! We all felt like we were witnessing something special. If he looked any cuter he may have been arrested!”
Our source says that Rob was humble, courteous and nice, and greeted everyone around him, including host Ellen, who popped by his dressing room briefly (lucky thing). The conversation was short, but the two managed to get in a little light American Idol chatter. “Rob hasn’t been following the show closely so he didn’t know which contestants were left, but he made sure to tell Ellen to say ‘hello’ to Simon [Cowell] for him,” our source dished.
Those Brits do love to stick together — and now both Rob and Simon even have similar haircuts! Do we smell a R-Patz guest appearance on X-Factor in the making?source

Gossip Cop has learned some of the visit’s highlights from a source in the studio:
*** An audience member was blindfolded and instructed to “feel up” three guys to guess which one was Pattinson. She got it wrong.
*** Pattinson told the host he begins shooting Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon on Thursday.
*** He jokingly told DeGeneres he got a haircut because he had “nits.” She told him that Americans call them “lice.”
*** Also in jest: Pattinson said People magazine got it wrong — he’s more beautiful than Julia Roberts.
*** Will Smith gave Pattinson advice about presenting at the Oscars: “Don’t try and be funny.” Wait until you’ve done it 6 times.

Is Robert Pattinson shy? The 'Twilight' star offers fans everywhere a glimpse into his mind on Wednesday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
On the program, Ellen comments that Rob seems more at ease acting than chatting on a talk show, and she says she thinks he might be shy.
"I just like doing things where you have a little time to think about what you're saying," Rob replies. "I've always had a problem actually thinking before I open my mouth."
"Being spontaneous?" Ellen asks.
"Yeah, being spontaneous or just thinking. I have a problem with thinking… Thinking in real time," he explains.
Catch Rob thinking about romancing Kristen Stewart's gorgeous Bella in 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,' in theaters June 30.

Rob & Nikki Set for “Ellen” Appearances
May 1, 2010Robert Pattinson won’t be the only “Eclipse” star to appear on “Ellen” before the latest installment of the “Twilight Saga” hits theaters.
Gossip Cop can confirm exclusively that Nikki Reed will be on the top talk show, too.
We’re told Reed will tape her segment on May 17, and it will air May 18.

Robert Pattinson is set to take another bite out of daytime.
The Eclipse vampire will join Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show in an episode airing Wednesday, May 19, Gossip Cop can confirm. It will be taped the previous day.
It isn’t the first “Ellen” engagement for Pattinson. The star appeared on the program back in November while promoting New Moon. That was the interview in which he described a woman in a public crowd getting naked to get his attention.
Gossip Cop will have more scoops as the June 30 Eclipse release nears.
