Eclipse set secrets

So as with everything from OK magazine, you have to take it for what it is.  In the November 2 issue of OK, there are the top 10 set secrets from Eclipse.  But remember OK tends to make things up and stretch the truth to sell more copies.

1) Kristen kisses Rob, then laughs:  We've actually heard this one before, and even seen it in behind the scenes footage from New Moon. Remember the Piazza scene when Bella finally reaches Edward for their much anticipated embrace?  They definitely had a few outtakes involving laughing.

2) There's competition in the weight room:  We assume if there is competition, it's all friendly and in good fun.  After all, you need a sense of humor to put that much time and effort into developing a 6 or 8 pack!

3) Bryce and Xavier have great chemistry: Apparently Riley's role has been expanded in Eclipse due to their great on-screen chemistry.  We'll see if that holds true when then movie is released.  Note - this chemistry is only on-screen.  Bryce is happily married to Seth Gabel.

4) The boys love pranks:  What boys don't, really?  Apparently it's the wolf pack and Kellan Lutz that are the leaders in the prank department!

5) Eclipse has another name!  With security so tight, OK! reports that Eclipse filming locations are titled "Untitled Sports Movie" in signage.  (As Malicious Mandy's Mind pointed out, this was the fake name for New Moon, not Eclipse.  As we mentioned in the beginning, OK! "sometimes" get's facts wrong :-/ )

6) Secrets of the special effects: Much of this we've known, and has been in articles previously.  Both vamps and wolves use great special effects in the movies.  To get the vampires to move so quickly and seemingly "fly" through trees, they use an elaborate cable and harness system.  The system is so complicated, it takes several crew members to help one vampire on the cable.  For the wolf pack, it must be painful to run in bare feet on rocky shores.  They glue moleskin to the bottoms of their feet to create the illusion of bare feet.

7) Rob and Taylor keep the tension real:  Again, take this with a grain of salt.  OK! reports the two don't socialize together on or off the set so they can keep in character.  We all know they have different hobbies and are different ages.  Is it so hard to believe they have different desires in their free time?  We doubt there's any  real tension between the two actors, but if they are method acting, then more power to them!  Just release the tension when the filming's over!

8) Kellan and Ashley are extremely close: All sources here confirm that Kellan and Ashley are just great friends.  They live across from each other in the same building in Vancouver, they drive to locations together , eat lunch together, and go to the gym together.  We're glad to see the two co-stars bonding!

9) Rob goes incognito Vancouver: This isn't too much of a surpirse.  With all the fan and paparazzi craziness, we've seen Rob's hoodies, caps and shades.  He prefers low-key evenings with his friends vs. crazy, crowded bars.

10) They all play games, and Kellan has a Kazoo....?  Apparently the cast has played the Twilight Trivia game - and they get questions wrong!!  Peter Facinelli claims it's sad when they get questions wrong, but they really enjoy hanging out with one another.  Rob and Jackson pull out their guitars while Kellan plays backup with a kazoo.  That's one sight we'd like to see!
