The lovely and talented Stephenie Meyer has been named on the Power list in Elle.  If you have read the books (who am I kidding we all have read them multiple times) you know why she made the list.

Millions of people around the world have her books, and heavens know how many will make a pilgrimage to their nearest movie theater on November 20th to see the second film inspired by her intoxicating novels.

She's Stephenie Meyer, and she's a power house all her own.

Elle sponsored a listing of Nikki Finke's Women in Hollywood Power List, and guess who was on it? Yes, that's right; Stephenie Meyer was.

Though Finke, who is Hollywood elite herself, wasn't too keen on the idea of a power list, she did it and said that "[t]he trick in Hollywood is not just getting power, it's keeping it ..."

While the list is available online, "for 'why?' behind the names, you're going to have to buy the issue."

Stephenie Meyer was listed under the "Talent" section alongside Tyra Banks, Beyonce Knowles, Kathryn Bigelow, Miley Cyrus, Ellen DeGeneres, Tina Fey, Michael Patrick King, Nancy Meyers, and Meryl Streep.

So, congratulations to Stephenie Meyer for yet another, well deserved, piece of recognition. You go girl.
