Taylor hit it big when he was given the role of Jacob Black in Twilight. He was so happy and humbled to have the part and had to wok hard to keep it. Taylor packed on 30 pounds in order to keep his role in Twilight Saga: New Moon (in theaters November 20) and Twilight Saga: Eclipse (just wrapped filming, in theaters June 30, 2010).
Previous to landing the role of Jacob Black Taylor was in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Other than those two films, Taylor played Christian Slater's son in the short lived TV series My Own Worst Enemy. He also made appearances in some TV shows such as The Bernie Mac Show, My Wife and Kids and Summerland.
After we see Taylor in New Moon we will be seeing him with Taylor Swift in Valentines Day out February, 12 2010 (day after his 18th b-day...yes ladies he will be legal then).

He was a three time Junior World Champion in martial arts and he is a black belt.
