As daytime turned to twilight in Los Angeles, fans littered the streets to catch a glimpse of their worshipped vampires and werewolves. ET's Kevin Frazier spoke to the stars of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' to get their reaction to the fan's reception of their rise to super stardom.
Robert Pattinson, who attracts tens of thousands of fans wherever he goes, said of all the attention, "You never ever get used to it." He joked that to go out in public he has to "find a good way to disguise myself...I have to make friends with some prosthetics people."
Relishing in the spotlight, Kristen Stewart reacted, saying, "You have so much human energy thrust at you...As an actor, nobody gets to share something that they love so much with so many people. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity."
The toned Taylor Lautner told Kevin about his workout regiment to keep up his physique, admitting, "It's just as hard to maintain it as it is to put it on." Thankful for the dedicated fans, Taylor said, "We're doing what we love to do and these people, everybody, they're helping us do it."
Stepping into such a media spectacle and fan frenzy is like enterting another realm for Kellan Lutz. He said, "It's a twilight zone, being a part of this phenomenon. It's a magic carpet ride."
Teen, tweens, and teeny-boppers are not alone in their enjoyment of the 'Twilight' series. Stars such as Jennifer Love Hewitt,Jamie Kennedy, Joan Jett, Richie Sambora, and the newly single Julianne Hough twinkled on the red carpet as well. Julianne revealed her favorite character: "I don't know any girl that hasn't read the books that doesn't dream about Edward."
Take a bite out of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' when it hits theaters on Friday, November 20.
