Heart-throb!

Well I could have told you this...Rob is a one of the biggest Heartthrobs, Taylor is on the list also.  They break down the young leading men in Hollywood that rank as heartthrobs.

Heart-throbs! Hollywood's leading leading men

Vampiric British star Robert Pattinson leads the pack of young actors who set teenage hearts a-flutter. And he can act, too

He has set millions of teenage hearts a-flutter and now the Twilight star Robert Pattinson is raising pulses among film executives keen to cash in on his profile.
The 23-year-old heart-throb, whose appearance this week at the premiere of New Moon – the second-screen instalment of Stephenie Meyer's four-book vampire saga – caused mass hysteria among British fans young and old, is joining an exclusive Hollywood club of leading men believed by industry insiders to be able to carry a film.
The first adaptation in the series, Twilight, last year topped the UK box office with a £2.5m opening weekend. Movie bosses will be hoping Pattinson's popularity and the current vogue for all things vampire, fuelled by TV showssuch as True Blood, can help New Moon to an even better showing.
But it remains to be seen whether the growing legion of bright young things, including the Twilight talent and High School Musical's ZacEfron, all have the acting ability to match the cinematic eye-candy status.
Hollywood's Holy Grail is to find young talent that can emulate established stars such as George Clooney and Brad Pitt, who cemented their careers by balancing roles showcasing their good looks with those highlighting their acting abilities.
The veteran film critic Barry Norman said there was a danger of young actors being type-cast if they stuck to the teenage "popcorn" genre. "It's an easy route for the young and the pretty, but I don't think necessarily that is going to be a good springboard to launch a long career," he said.
Tatiana Siegel, a reporter for Variety who covers castings at the four major film studies in Los Angeles, said British hunk Pattinson was "the most in-demand actor of the generation". She added: "Now the trend in Hollywood is not so much to have an actor who carries the movies, but a brand, like Twilight. Robert Pattinson is one of the few actors that the studios can build a movie around."
His co-star, Taylor Lautner, is also hot property. The 17-year-old piled on 30lbs of muscle for his role as the werewolf Jacob Black. He has been quoted as saying he would never take his shirt off on-screen again, but teenage girls breathed a sigh of relief this week when he denied the comment, adding that he would strip off if the role required it.
Emile Hirsch
Hirsch, 24, began acting aged 10. In 2002 he made his feature debut in The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys and has acted opposite Sean Penn, Bruce Willis and Sharon Stone. He has avoided the traditional heart-throb route, with interesting roles in Into the Wild and Milk.
Chace Crawford
Crawford, 24, was a journalism student, uncertain about his chosen career, when his mother suggested acting. He landed his first film role in Long Lost Son in 2006 and shot to stardom in 2007 as TV series Gossip Girl's Nate Archibald. A part in next year's musical Footlooseshould help cement his place in the echelon of top totty and boost his overall profile in the industry.
Zac Efron
The pretty 22-year-old has been a feature of teen mags since 2006 and High School Musical. Sequels and a lead in Hairspray cemented his heart-throb status, but his boyish looks may delay recognition as a "grown-up". "He can sing, but whether he can hold the screen as an actor I don't know," said Hollywood Reporter's Jay Fernandez.
Dev Patel
The 19-year-old Brit began his career in 2006 with teen TV series Skins, then found international fame in Slumdog Millionaire. But he needs more roles to seal the deal.
Taylor Lautner
At 17, he's young even in this youthful company. Lautner began his career as a martial artist aged six, becoming karate junior world champion at 12. He took up acting at 11, and at 13 got his first major role in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D. But it is as werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight franchise that he's set young girls' hearts racing.
Shia LaBeouf
"I was acting when I came out of the womb," says fifth-generation performer LaBeouf, 23. Stephen Spielberg cast him as the lead in Transformers and with Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones. Status as heart-throb overshadowed by strange comments in interviews.
Nicholas Hoult
Anyone who saw Hoult, now 19, as geeky pre-teen Marcus in About a Boy may doubt his heart-throb potential. But the British actor is now a teen favourite thanks to his lead role inSkins. And next year's Clash of the Titans may bring him international renown.
Michael Cera
Cera performed in his first feature film, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, at 14. In 2003, he established himself as a comedy talent playing George Michael Bluth in the cult seriesArrested Development and went on to act in Juno and Superbad. The 21-year-old, who has attracted fans with his humour and charm rather than Hollywood looks, has enjoyed box-office success by perfecting a particular comedy role. But he will need to expand his repertoire to cement a heart-throb career.
Ed Westwick
At 22, Westwick is one of the select band of young English actors who enjoy transatlantic success. His career began on the British soap circuit with bit parts on medical dramasDoctors and Casualty before he landed the role of Chuck Bass alongside Chace Crawford in the TV series Gossip Girl. He is due to tackle the ultimate romantic lead, Heathcliff, inWuthering Heights next year.
Robert Pattinson
Pattinson, 23, found screen success in 2005 as ill-fated Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but it is his Twilight role as vampire boy Edward Cullen that has infected teenage girls with the Pattinson bug. "He's got that interesting sort of dirty handsomeness which seems to polarise girls," says Jay Fernandez of Hollywood Reporter
