Gil Birmingham!!
Playing Billy Black in Twilight, Twilight Saga: New Moon (November 20) and Twilight Saga: Eclipse (June 30, 2010) enabled Gil to see what it was like to be disabled. Playing Billy Black the way he did broke boundaries for those who are in wheelchairs. He has mentioned how great it is to be able to play this character. Gil has done an amazing job of bringing Billy to life.
Before the Twilight Saga, Gil was in many films and TV series. To name a few, Charmed, Veronica Mars, Body & Soul, Buffy, and Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. Some of the movies are DreamKeeper, Skins, Gentle Ben 1 and 2, California Indian, Into the West and Cosmic Radio.
In the near future we will be seeing Gil in Love Ranch and Rango.

Gil is one of the many Twilight cast members who are musically talented. He plays guitar and sings.
Gil has traveled across the country, singing and playing guitar with various bands. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix served as the early inspiration for Gil’s musical style, which ranges from Blues and R&B, to Rock.
Gil is such a nice guy and loves his fans. He has been to many Twi Tours and performs at these events when he can. I want to personally thank him for responding to his fans on twitter and sharing exclusive photos from behind the scenes of his projects. It is great of him to treat his fans so nicely and with so much respect. Keep it up Gil, we all love you.
