Ashley Greene Set To Get Spooked Alongside 'Gossip Girl' Star Sebastian Stan In 'The Apparition'
"Gossip Girl" star Sebastian Stan (who is among our Hump Day Hottie's list from 2009) is taking a brief hiatus from the drama on the Upper East Side to step into some creepy shoes for the horror flick "The Apparition," according to Variety.
The story, which is inspired by true events, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment (so, uh, kind of like "Paranormal Activity" for the dorm ...). Sebastian, who will play the role of a postgrad who's trying to figure out what to do next with his life, stars alongside “Twilight” vamp Ashley Greene.
Though many details are not yet available about Ashley’s role in the flick, she recently dished to MTV News that the fight scenes in her third "Twilight" movie, "Eclipse," will be epic. "The first ['Twilight' movie] was very focused on this love story and really sweet and it was beautiful, but it didn't have a lot of stuff that guys would go, 'Yeah, I want to go see that,' " she said. "There's going to be a lot more focus on [action], and the fight scene will have more emphasis on it. I definitely think it will be a little more guy-friendly."
“The Apparition” begins filming Feb 1 in Berlin, and moves to L.A. in March. Sebastian’s fans won’t have to wait until the movie is out to get their Carter Baizen fix – “Gossip Girl” returns with a new season in March. Ashley's fans will be able to see her again soon — she'll be attending the Sundance film festival this month for her movie, "Skateland."
