Hollywood Celebrities Join Cash4Gold’s Haitian Relief Efforts

Since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Cash4Gold has undertaken a series of efforts to help support those impacted by the tragedy.

In the run-up to the Golden Globe Awards, Cash4Gold was on-hand in Los Angeles to take part in The Style Lounge, which celebrities visit to explore cutting-edge products and services. Cash4Gold used this one-of-a-kind opportunity to raise attention and funds to donate to The American Red Cross in support of Haitian disaster relief efforts.
Celebrity visitors to the Cash4Gold “Melt Room” at the two-day Style Lounge were invited to play a coin toss game in which “golden” coins were thrown into a smoking crucible representing the furnaces in which Cash4Gold melts the broken or unwanted items it receives in the mail each day. Every coin that made it into the cauldron equated to more money raised for the Red Cross to support relief for Haiti.
This charity effort is only one way in which Cash4Gold is responding to the Haitian crisis. Even as celebrities were lining up in Los Angeles to support the company’s fundraising, at Cash4Gold headquarters in Florida, Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson announced that the company is matching dollar for dollar all employee cash donations to the cause. A number of Cash4Gold team members are Haitian and they and their families have been personally impacted by the disaster.
Additionally, Cash4Gold employees are donating shoes, canned goods, and other food items in conjunction with Food for the Poor which will airlift the supplies directly to Haiti.
