George sounds off

George is happy to not be competing with Rob for roles.  I love Rob and think he is so good looking, but George is hot for an older guy (say that as he is close to the same age as my mom)

George Clooney Tells OK! He’s Glad He’s Not in Competition with R-Pattz

Last week, Up in the Air actress Anna Kendrickblabbed that her leading man George Clooneyhad displayed his jealous side whenever he talked about her Twilight Saga co-star RobertPattinson. And when we caught up with George at last night’s New York Film Critic’s Circle Awards, the Oscar-winner told OK! that he’s happy he doesn’t have to compete with R-Pattz for movie roles.

“Thank God I don’t have to,” the Fantastic Silver Fox explained to OK!. “He’s young and handsome and talented.”

It was on The View that Anna revealed George’s streak of R-Pattz envy.

“Whenever I came back [from shooting Twilight], it was like, ‘Oh, sorry, this isn’t theTwilight set,’” she recalled. “‘You’re not working with Mr. Handsome.’ He called Rob ‘Mr. Handsome.’”

To help him cope, Anna got Rob to sign a copy of his April GQ cover for Clooney: “To George: Best of Luck. Hang in there. Love, Rob.”
