ANKLE BOOTS
Boots and warm weather aren’t an obvious match. But designers such as Dolce & Gabbana and Rag & Bone and celebrities like Jennifer Connelly have demonstrated that ankle boots and minis or shorts are actually a perfect pairing.

Heading out somewhere special to ring in 2010? It’s the one night to go all out with your fashion, makeup and hair, so do it big! Celebrity Stylist Ted Gibson, who has worked with Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Ashley Greene and Renee Zellweger, says red carpet styles provide the ultimate hair inspiration.
“Half-up, half-down like Ashley Greene… and if you are living on the edge, Rihanna’s hair is the one to copy.”
New Year’s Eve is the ideal time to add drama to your hairstyle. And Ted reveals how you can achieve the perfect party look.
What are the best ways to achieve a dramatic hairstyle for the New Year parties?
Always start off with a really good blow dry using “ted gibson build it blow drying agent.” Drama is in the eyes of the beholder and achieving it is really simple. After your blow dry, tip your head over and brush your hair towards your face. Use a hairspray like “ted gibson beautiful hold” to add volume. Then tip your head back and you will have BIG SEXY hair!
What are the steps and tools used to create these looks?
You will need 3 things in your tool chest to have the best party hair on the planet. “build it blow drying agent,” a large barrel curling iron and “beautiful hold hairspray.”
Step 1… Use “build it blow drying” spray at the scalp and then blow dry your hair upside down. After the hair is 100% dry, use the large barrel iron to create some wave in the hair.
Step 2… Using your fingers, tousle the hair. To give the perfect control for the perfect hold use “beautiful hold hairspray.”
How can we add drama to our everyday hair to fit the occasion?
Sparkle and jeweled headbands and barrettes are a great way to change up that boring holiday up-do that you wear every year. Have fun with them don’t be shy!
