Robert Pattinson starts shooting his new movie Bel Ami this week in London andBudapest.

The film is set in 1890s Paris and sees theTwilight star take the lead role playingGeorges Duroy.

Opposite the Brit heartthrob are three A-list actresses- Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci.

Bel Ami is bound to please female fans of R-Patz as according to the studio it’s an “erotically charged story of ambition, power and seduction.”

The movie has received funding from American Idol founder and former Spice Girls managerSimon Fuller.

Pattinson will next be seen in Remember Me and the third Twilight movie Eclipse.
