Twilight’s Kristen Stewart rocks out

Kristen Stewart took a break from mooning over vampire pin-up Robert Pattinson to star in The Runaways, a biopic of a ‘70s girl band in L.A.
At the film’s New York premiere Stewart looked more glam than grunge in Emilio Pucci before disappearing with co-star Dakota Fanning (who wore Elie Saab) into jeans and T-shirt attire at the after party, sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger at the Bowery Hotel.
Joan Jett, who Stewart plays in the film and Cherie Currie (played by Fanning) also appeared on the red carpet, giving style icon Chloe Sevigny a run for the paparazzi’s money.
Making a surprise appearance was former Dior muse Riley Keough. In the film Elvis’s granddaughter avoids future typecasting by not playing a musician.
