To fans of the movie blockbusters Twilight andNew Moon, he’s Dr. Carlisle Cullen. Now, Peter Facinelli is coming to Clarksville to meet his fans. Facinelli will visit Governor’s Square Mall on Saturday, May 1, from noon to 5 p.m. Autographs and photos with Facinelli may be purchased for $25 and $40 respectively, with partial proceeds going to benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a charity that seeks a cure for childhood cancer.
The New York City-born Facinelli is one of Hollywood’s busiest actors. In 2007, he starred in the FX series Damages, with Glenn Close. The following year, he signed on as Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the patriarch of a brood of vampires in the much-anticipated drama Twilight. He can currently be seen in the sequel, New Moon, and recently completed shooting a third installment, Eclipse, scheduled for release later this year. Facinelli also plays the imperious Dr. Fitch “Coop” Cooper in the Showtime series Nurse Jackie.
Governor’s Square Mall, which has been serving the Clarksville area since 1986, comprises over one million square feet of retail space. It is anchored by Dillard’s, Belk, Sears, JCPenney, Borders, Cinema Ten and over 100 other specialty shops and services.
