Kristen Stewart rocked a sophisticated new look at the annual Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala wearing a black taffeta Chanel dress. The Twilight star left her converse trainers, checked shirt and leather biker jacket at home as she scrubbed up for one of the most fashionable events on the 2010 calendar. The 20-year-old actress looked more confident than ever as she posed for photographers in her asymmetrical black dress, sky-high Sergio Rossi heels and a super-cute quilted Chanel bag.Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend seems to be taking a grown-up approach to fashion of late, first she appeared on the cover of Flaunt magazine working a cool rock-chick look and now she’s hitting the red carpet like a true fashion pro. It pains us to say it but Robert Pattinson is one lucky man!
We hope to see a lot more of Kristen’s new style (and Robert Pattinson) on the promotional tour for the third Twilight movie, Eclipse, which hits UK cinemas on 9 July 2010 – we can’t wait! SD
