Best & Worst: MTV Movie Awards 2010
Pity poor Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner |
From the pre-credits sequence to Aziz Ansari's opening monologue to Jonah Hill and Russell Brand's presenter patter, the two "Twilight" stars were the subject of more jokes than any single person, place or thing. Best and Worst of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards
Worst: To many [expletive] bleeps
By the time Peter Facinelli reached the podium to accept the Best Movie Award for "New Moon," FCC regulators had lost count of how many times someone had sworn and then been bleeped on the 2-hour show. You know a record must have been set when Facinelli, intending to mock the insane amount of expletives, swore so often the show's control room couldn't cover them up on the East Coast feed. Something tells us there will be a much longer delay for MTV's Video Music Awards in September.
Best: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart know what their fans want, but boy are they are gonna make them work hard to get it. In a cleverly played out bit, the "New Moon" stars and rumored couple (watch out guys, it might just be a fun publicity game to the duo) pretended to have an awkward time of re-enacting their award-winning kiss. The best part of it, however, was when Pattinson seemed to surprise Stewart and go in for the kill earlier than expected. The smile on his face afterward was almost more entertaining than the bit itself.
