Nikki Was 'Intimidated' By Rosalie's Backstory

"Twilight" was all about Bella and Edward. Then in "New Moon," Jacob really stepped it up. While "Eclipse" definitely focuses on the love triangle between all three, fans also get to learn a bit more about their friends and family.
When Nikki Reed had to shoot Rosalie's backstory, her biggest moment yet in "The Twilight Saga," she was feeling the pressure.

"I was torn, because I was definitely looking forward to it. I mean, I read the first three books before we began filming 'Twilight,' so I knew what I had in store if we made all three movies," she told MTV News about going back in time and showing the fans Rosalie's story. "But I was obviously very intimidated, and I felt a little insecure, and I was nervous, and maybe I should not be saying all these things, but I was."
For those unfamiliar with the "Twilight" series (spoiler alert!), when she was a human, Rosalie was attacked by a group of men, including her fiancé, and left to die. Carlisle Cullen came to her rescue, turning her into a vampire and bringing her into the Cullen clan.
"It's scary. I never felt the pressure up until shooting 'Eclipse,' because we're all a part of this thing, but it was really Rob and Kristen and then Taylor [in the other movies]," Reed said. "But I really was nervous about having to shoot that whole sequence. ... I think it's a very dark and dramatic backstory that Rosalie has, and Stephenie [Meyer] certainly gave me plenty to work with. But I know that the fans have expectations, and I've never been a part of something that existed before I became a part of it."
