This week has seen celebrities battling chic by jowl for outfit supremacy at a host of high-glamour events across the globe.
In Los Angeles, Zoe Saldana was crowned Face of the Future at the annual Women in Film awards wearing a show-stopping Max Mara wrap dress, which she sharpened up with buckled Louboutin heels.
Also in Hollywood, Demi Moore opted for a long and slinky petrol-blue Lanvin; one of her go-to designers for red-carpet events, while Jessica Biel attended the A-Team premiere in an elegant creamy silk Puccigown with lace waist insert.
Kristen Stewart opted for her failsafe formula of mini plus enviable legs at the Eclipse premiere in South Korea, this time with waist-cincher and Addicted-to-Love slicked back hair.
Flying the sartorial flag for Britain were Daphne Guinness, in full dramatic homage to Margiela at the Somerset House exhibition launch, and a beautifully low key Alexa Chung; proving that sometimes pared-down can rival dolled-up when your sense of style is as innate as Alexa's.
