It was a sizzling moment on the red carpet at the
MTV Movie Awards last night, when MTV News reporter, Josh Horowitz, caught up with
Xavier Samuel, the newest bad boy in the upcoming third installment of the “
Twilight Saga."
With the premiere of “
Eclipse” just 23 days away (!!!), the Australian heartthrob explained that it’s “kind of hard to know what to expect” when dealing with a global phenomenon like the aforementioned franchise. Though he joked, “I haven’t been given a guidebook or anything." (Hint hint: maybe some enterprising fan out there should make him one!)
Even though he was thrown into the “Twilight” craze without much direction, Xavier, who plays Riley (Victoria’s faithful servant and head of the newborn army) is doing more than just fine! He seemed comfortable on the red carpet and talked with ease. The actor obviously knows how to dive right in, and he added, “if I keep my head down I think I’ll be OK.”
“I can’t wait to see the film," he said. "I'm really looking forward to it." Oh, Xavier, so are we!
