Love this song. Perfect song for Bella. Loved how All Yours was playing in the background when Bella and Edward were in the meadow at the end of Eclipse. *sigh* I want to see it again now!When Metric’s Emily Haines was approached by award-winning composer Howard Shore about writing a track for ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ soundtrack, it was clear that the band was presented with an opportunity to reach an epic new audience. Haines, Shore and guitarist Jimmy Shaw soon got to co-writing the song, ‘Eclipse (All Yours),’ with a certain focus in mind.
“[Shore] was like, ‘What I’m attracted to is Metric, but it’s not about it representing Metric,” the frontwoman says in the following clip. “It’s about you embodying the voice of Bella.”
The behind-the-scenes footage, directed by Luke Wooden, captures the scenic shots of the rustic North Vancouver location in which the song’s video was filmed.
“Kristen Stewart is a really good actress and I feel like Bella’s a really important character for young women,” Haines previously told Spinner. “She’s not a stupid girl. It’s one of the most insightful portraits that I’ve ever seen of what it really is like to be a young woman and deal with the kaleidoscope of emotions that you go through on a daily basis.”
