For the premiere of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World in Hollywood, Anna Kendrickcontrasted her deconstructed updo with soft, shiny pink gloss. Mauve—a pink hue with slightly grey undertones—is one of our favorite universally flattering hues. Against creamy fair skin, like Kendrick's it has a warming effect; paired with darker complexions it can be subtle and elegant.
