Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner is “extremely nice and sincere,” say Pittsburgh Steelers football players who met him at their game against the Detroit Lions on Aug. 14.
Lautner, 18, is a huge football fan who has been in Pittsburgh, Pa., this summer filming the thriller Abduction.
When Taylor attended a game at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, he got the opportunity to meet several players, including punter Dan Sepulveda. The Steelers, who won the game 23-7, discussed their star sighting on their blog:
Taylor Lautner, who starred in the Twilight series and is in Pittsburgh filming Abduction, enjoyed his time on the field, talking with Steelers players, coaches and even saying hi to some excited young fans.
Lautner, who told me you can’t help but get the feel for Steelers-mania as soon as you arrive in Pittsburgh, really got a feel for it at Heinz Field and soaked it all in. Among the players Lautner met were Hines Ward, Ryan Clark and Dan Sepulveda. Sepulveda told Lautner that people come up to him all of the time and tell him that he looks like him. Lautner agreed.
For all of the Team Jacob fans out there, the good news is Lautner is extremely nice and sincere.
Taylor has played football he was 8, and was a junior world karate champion.
A natural athlete, Lautner represented the United States at the World Karate Association at 8, where he won three gold medals and became the Junior World Forms and Weapons champion.
“I love sports,” he has said. “If I could, I’d be on a team. If there’s an excuse to play football, I’m there.”
Taylor will finish filming Abduction in September, then will begin fight training and rehearsals for Breaking Dawn.
Breaking Dawn, which co-stars Robert Pattinson, will begin shooting Nov. 1 in Vancouver and in Baton Rouge, La.
