Ashley Greene Style Transformation

No one said playing a vampire would be easy! Aside from wearing stark white foundation and red and amber contact lenses, Ashley Greene had to chop off her mane to fit beneath the flippy wig she wears to play Alice Cullen. What's a long locks-loving Floridian to do? When not filming, Greene depends on flawlessly matched extensions and subtle bronzers—or she just heads off to bed. As she told InStyle: "I feel most beautiful at night, when I take my makeup off and it's just me."
2005: For her Wolfson High School senior portrait, the Jacksonville, Florida native accented her natural beauty with pin-straight locks and understated makeup.

Greene's face-framing loose style made the most of her mauve lipstick and smoky eyes. As she has said, "Dark makeup looks best when it's subtle and focused on either the eye or lip."

The actress made the ultimate sacrifice, chopping her locks for the Twilight Saga: "My hair is very long and thick, which made it awkward to fit underneath Alice's pixie wig." The new look allowed her to rock retro-inspired curls for the MTV Movie Awards.

Greene went even shorter with a sleek bob. "I love my new cut," she told us. "It's very cool and different. It's emo-chic and sophisticated."

For the New Moon premiere, the actress added extensions and played up her delicate features with soft color. "We wanted a natural but glamorous look," said makeup artist Vanessa Scali. "I kept the eye shadow, blush, and lips transparent but went for strong and dramatic brows, liner, and lashes."

Greene went for a sleek bob and deep side part.

She transformed her softly-waved mane with caramel and honey highlights. As her stylist Ted Gibson said, "Ashley Greene looked sexy, chic and super-modern with her newly lightened hair color."
