Previously announced Breaking Dawn cast-member Ty Olsson had not been tied to a specific character the last we heard. Now we can confirm straight from Summit Entertainment that Ty will be playing Phil Dwyer, Reneé’s husband and Bella’s step-father.
While Phil was seen in the original Twilight, he was played by another actor (Matt Bushel). Ty will be taking over the role for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
