So I finally got to see 100 Monkeys live in concert, I've been trying to go to see them for a while now and it just hasn't worked out. They were playing at Summerfest in Milwaukee (where I live) and I got to go. I was front row near the speakers on the stage left (to me it was the right side of the stage). I was actually right in front of the keyboard. I went alone and met some really great people who were there to see them. There is something to say about the 100 Monkeys fans and Twilight fans...they make you feel like family/good friends even though you just met. They were scheduled to take the stage at 8:00 but ended up coming out early about 7:45 and played till a little after 9:00 which is to be expected because the next band takes the stage at 10:00 and they have to change equipment up. They are so full of energy, they were bouncing up and down the whole time (Jackson never stopped moving so some of my pictures actually ended up blurry). Jackson was the one who introduced everyone, they are such characters and I love it. After the show a few of us fans waited off to the side hoping they would come out and meet with us. After a little while they ended up coming out. I got a picture with Jackson and Ben G and gave Uncle a kiss on the cheek :). I got autographs from Ben G, Ben J, Uncle and Jackson. They are all so sweet, the girl next to me took a photo with Ben G but it was blurry so he came back and took another one with her. They all stopped by each person there and made sure they enjoyed the show and got a chance to talk with them. But I have to say after all of that Jackson is still my favorite (but more about that to come at a later date). I got a 100 Monkeys book called "Every Monkey Dookies" and a guitar pic with the logo on it. If you happen to be able to get to see them I highly recommend it, it was an experience of a life time and I hope I get to see them again.
