by Evalynn J. SaeyangTwilight author, Stephenie Meyer, is going to produce Austenland, a Jane Austen-inspired movie that will be devoid of vampires. This project will be Meyer's fourth attempt at producing a movie. Unfortunately for Twilight fans, it doesn't seem like Stephenie has added either Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart to the cast, yet.
However, the current cast members associated with the project are some well-respected veteran and junior actors and actresses. Thus far some of those from the cast are James Callis, Jennifer Coolidge, J.J. Field, Bret McKenzie, Keri Russell, Jane Seymour and Rupert Vansittart.
Austenland will be about a woman who is obsessed with the Pride and PrejudiceAustenland and while there she falls in love with the actor hired to play Mr. Darcy. It sounds like it will be a fairytale meets reality romantic comedy, doesn't it? character Mr. Darcy. She eventually visits a Jane Austen themed resort called
It's great to see that as the Twilight Saga ends, everyone attached with the project is moving on to other things. Seriously, with author Stephenie Meyer moving on and getting involved in other projects really signifies an end to the Twilight craze. It's definitely bittersweet for many. However, wouldn't it be great to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cast in another Meyer project? Yeah, it would.
