Kellan Is ‘Part Of Every Decision’ In Abbot + Main Clothing Line

Nordstroms at The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles had quite a crowd on Thursday when a Twilight: Breaking Dawn star made an appearance. Kellan Lutz was on hand to launch his latest project – the men’s clothing line Abbot + Main.
Lutz, 26, partnered with Dylan George designer Danny Guez for the new endeavor and the initial offering is a 25-piece ready-to-wear collection that is reminiscent of the relaxed feel of Venice Beach, CA.

“I used to live on the corner of Abbot Kinney and Main,” Lutz said. “And I just love the feeling in Venice. That’s what I was trying to capture with Abbot + Main.”

The Immortals actor says he’s not just the pretty face of the line – he’s very active in all aspects of the line.

“I am a part of every decision,” he said.  “Nothing gets decided on unless it comes through me.  I put in a lot of input now like I did in the beginning.  We raided my closet to find out what type of shirts I usually wear and what kind of fabrics I like. Because I didn’t just want to be the face of the campaign, but have it be my brand.”

The line will expand to include women’s clothing for Spring 2012.
Lutz will host an after party celebrating the fashion line at the Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Resort on August 23rd.
