SMARTY PANTS
“I finished high school while filming movies. And then as soon as I was done, I enrolled in my local community college and got 12-15 credits out of the way really quickly. After that, it just got too busy, but if I get a break again, going back definitely interests me—I might be interested in studying psychology.”
BREAKING A SWEAT
“Abduction was super-physical for me. I’d never boxed before, so I had to train for a couple of months. The last time I wrestled was when I was six years old, so I had to work on that. And then there was the motorcycle training. I rode a few dirt bikes in New Moonand Eclipse, but in Abduction, it was a legit street racing bike. And I’m not the biggest motorcycle fan—they’re cool and a lot of fun, but they’re scary as well!”
FUNNY GUY
“I like to have fun, but I don’t think of myself as being funny. But I’m a big jokester, so I make fun of myself a lot!”
FROM A GUY’S PERSPECTIVE…
“I would totally be there for a girl friend, to giver her a guy’s perspective [on relationships], which I’m sure would be completely different from a girl’s perspective. So it would probably end up confusing for her anyway. Maybe it’s a good thing that my girl friends haven’t asked me for too much advice…[laughs]“
LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE
“It’s important to work through things in a relationship. You can’t just give up because you’re frustrated. It’s most important to talk things through together. And that, for me, has been the way I’ve best resolved problems in the past.”
LOW-KEY DUDE
“I still live with my family, but the great thing is that I’m not the guy who likes to go out so much. I don’t really find that whole world intriguing. So the most I’ll do is either have friends over or go to a friend’s house.”
SINGING IN THE SHOWER
“I’m a big fan of all those singing competition shows. Most recently, I’ve been into The Voice. It’s one of my secrets! And I’m definitely looking forward to The X Factor, especially because I’m a huge Simon Cowell fan. Personally, I sing for fun, but mainly in the shower, when I’m alone. Other people definitely do not want to hear me sing.”
LOSING IN LOVE
“I can definitely relate to Jacob’s feelings in Breaking Dawn. When he gets the invitation to the wedding, he doesn’t handle it very well. And I don’t think I would either. If I were in love with a girl and she told me she was marrying somebody else, that would crush me. And that’s what it does. It destroys Jacob.”
GOOD LUCK CHARM
“I have a football with me a lot on set. It’s comforting to me, even if that sounds really weird. I’m always carrying a football and playing catch with the cast and crew. Because when I’m at home, I’m always throwing it with my friends and family!”
xoxo
