Forget Bella and Edward's wedding day -- Twilight starNikki Reed's real-life nuptials with Paul McDonald were pretty out-of-this-world!
On Sunday, Reed, 23, tied the knot with the season 10American Idol contestant, 27, at a private ranch in Malibu, Calif. before a crowd of 100.
"We couldn't be happier!" the happy couple told Us shortly after the ceremony. "[We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We're so glad this day has come!"
For her stunning bridal look, Reed went all out -- and embarked on a unique collaboration with bridal jewelry brand Tacori, which crafted not only the engagmeent and wedding bands for the couple, but Reed's wedding gown as well.
The final result? An ivory white, body-hugging dress with a "40s classic glamour silhouette," Tacori's Michelle Adorjan tells Us Weekly. "It flows back into a 72-inch train, about six feet."
"It's extremely simple," Adorjan explains. "The glamorous details are what Tacori brings to it."
Such as? The back of the dress features 100 buttons -- diamond buttons! "Instead of a traditional, silk wrap button, we did diamond buttons!" Adorjan reveals. "A little over 100 carats just on the buttons! But it's simple and beautiful."
After just two months of dating, Reed and McDonald announced their engagement in June. They first met at the L.A. premiere of Little Red Riding Hood in March.
"We fit each other," MacDonald gushed recently. "When you know, you know, and she's the one."
