Rob and Kristen Are NOT Really Married

If you remember the guy who plays the priest said during one interview that he didn't get ordained till after he filmed Breaking Dawn.  Plus its Rob who said this and he likes joking about stuff like this (remember pregnancy joke?)

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart “Already Married?”

“Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Already Married?” asks HollywoodLife, which is exacerbating our Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with all its inaccurate reports.

The site excitedly writes, “Forget about waiting until the Breaking Dawn madness is over! In a press conference in Stockholm, Sweden, today, Oct. 28th, Robert Pattinson revealed him (sic) and Kristen Stewart might already be hitched!”

The blog then quotes Pattinson saying at the press conference, “The wedding scene’s funny because we used a real priest. So technically we are already married because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony…. We don’t have a civil union in law, but I guess in the church we are actually married.”

“Whoa!” reacts HollywoodLife, noting, “Rumors recently went around saying the two were waiting until after Breaking Dawn came out to get engaged, but I guess they were wrong!”

No, HollywoodLife is wrong.

Surprisingly, even though the blog is a joke, it didn’t realize Pattinson was joking.

He and Stewart are NOT married.

This may be hard for the site to fathom, but while the marriage ceremony will be awesomein the movie, weddings of fictitious film characters are neither binding nor recognized by the church in real life.
