Taylor Lautner Talks Twilight: Breaking Dawn

aylor Lautner has gone from obscure teen actor in the likes of Cheaper By The Dozen 2 to global heartthrob thanks to the Twilight saga, now approaching its end with the release of Breaking Dawn: Part 1. Taylor Lautner Talks Twilight: Breaking Dawn

Are you ready to say goodbye to Twilight? Or will you miss it?
I will miss everything. The thing I’ll probably most miss is just going back filming with everybody, because we are such good friends at this point that it’s always a ton of fun. The worst thing is knowing that we are not going to be going back, because when we were filming all the other movies we would finish and we would just be like: “We’re going to be back in a couple of months.” This time around it was very different and it was really emotional for all of us. I was the one who predicted it was going to be emotional! We were two or three weeks out and it still kinda hadn’t hit us that this is coming to an end and I said, “You know what, guys? I think we’re actually gonna be kind of emotional, I really think we are going to shed a tear!” and everyone was like: “No, no, no.”

And it was sad! It didn’t help because my last scene with Rob and Kristen, I believe on the second-to-last day of filming, was a scene where I was dancing with Kristen and it’s towards the beginning of the film where I am saying goodbye to her. I’ve just learned that she’s married, she’s leaving to go on her honeymoon and my chances with her are over. So we are doing this one last dance, and it’s super romantic. I’m saying goodbye to her, we’re both crying, and that was my goodbye to working with Rob and Kristen, which was really tough. Then my very last scene, which was the last day of the franchise, was a scene where I think Bella has died, so I run outside and I fall onto the ground and just lose it. I’m bawling, and, er, that was the very last bit I filmed of the franchise.
