Ashley Greene spent the weekend in style as she hit up several New York Fashion Week shows. Sitting pretty in a front row, the star, who rose to fame playing Alice Cullen in Twilight, is making her mark as quite the fashionista.
Celebuzz caught up with Ashley at the Donna Karan show on Monday afternoon during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to talk about style and reveal who she thinks is the best dressed Twilight guy.
Although Ashley could probably make a paper bag look glamorous, the actress admits she’d never step out in an outfit just because it was deemed trendy.
“Someone once told me, be yourself and wear what you feel comfortable in,” she said. “You have to take things and make them your own. That’s how you’re going to look your best and feel your best.”
Now with several movie premieres, including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, on the horizon, Ashley has been staking out a few runway dresses during fashion week, hinting that we’ll likely see her in a lot of Donna Karan’s looks.
“One of the great things about coming to the shows is you get first pick at these amazing dresses,” she revealed. “I saw quite a few today [at Donna Karan's show] that I really love. I’ll definitely be pulling a few looks for my closet.”
She isn’t the only Twilight star eying all the fashion during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Kellan Lutz has been a front row staple at the men’s shows, so it should come as no surprise that Ashley believes “hands down” that he has the best style among her male costars.
