KStew is a hot commodity!

Anyone who can pair this Yigal Azrouël dress with Chuck Taylors as beautifully as Kristen Stewart does is certainly worthy of a raised eyebrow or two from the industry.

With Mercedes Benz Fashion Week beginning today in New York City, many designers have been talking about who they’d like to have on the front row during their turn on the runway. Kristen Stewart, it seems, is high on the wish list.

According to a recent article,

"This season is … more about up and coming actual actresses," one fashion publicist told PopEater as she sent out invites for three upcoming shows.

There is one starlet designers have been desperate to land but no one has been able to lock down -- 'Twilight's' Kristen Stewart. She's taping the third installment of the series, 'Eclipse,' in Vancouver all through the big week and so far isn't scheduled to attend any shows. Maybe, though, we should wait and see.

"If anyone does get Kristen at the last minute, that means they shelled out some big bucks to get her here," one designer (who was not able to shell out those bucks) sighed.

The Mercedez Benz Fashion Week spring 2010 showcase takes place in New York City from September 10th to September 17th.

Kristen Stewart, meanwhile, will join her The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in presenting the newest trailer for New Moon at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. While the details are currently unknown, with most reports referring to their presentation (like this one, for instance) as them being “on hand to debut” the new footage, a recent article by MTV confirms that the three will be on the red carpet for the event.

When referring to co-star Ashley Greene’s new post as the MTV Fashion Correspondent for the VMAs, an MTV writer said that it “should make for some fun red carpet exchanges. I'm sure the trio will enjoy fielding questions from someone they've worked with so closely.”

In turn, since the VMAs are taking place at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City on September 13th (smack dab in the middle of Fashion Week) maybe Kristen Stewart be seen front and center at one of the shows after all.
