New Moon vs This is It

New Moon has been a much anticipated movie ever since it was given the green light.  But since the unexpected death of Michael Jackson, This Is It, the movie put together from rehearsal footage became a huge film to see.  Fans of Michael Jackson have made the movie number one, but what will happen opening weekend of New Moon?  what movie will be in the number one spot?  I have a feeling it will be New Moon because This Is It will have been out for about one month plus New Moon is the most anticipated movie of the year.

Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' vs. Robert Pattinson's 'New Moon,' which will prevail?

November could provide one of the most interesting months in recent years at the box office.

Beginning November 20th, and for only a short period of time, it will be the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, squaring of the undead and gorgeous vampire Edward Cullenplayed by Robert Pattinson.

Although the hype surrounding the release ofNew Moon precedes the death of Michael Jackson, millions of fans are continuing to support "This Is It" and keeping it locked firmly at the top spot of international ticket sales.

Preparing to exit theaters just as New Moonarrives, Michael Jackson's "This Is It" will briefly contend with Robert Pattinson at the box office. And, interestingly enough, it is not yet clear who will come out on top.

As the final wave of Michael Jackson fans - not to mention repeat viewers - flock to the theaters for one last brush with Michael Jackson, New Moon will just be arriving. And we'll have to wait a few more weeks to learn which force will prove stronger: fans saying goodbye to Michael Jackson, or fans saying hello to the second installment of the Twilight saga.
