The Most Memorable Movie Prom Scenes

I agree, but I personally think the book prom scene is better.  I did like how Bill made the song they first officially danced to (not including Debussy in his bedroom where he twirls her once) their wedding song.

The roadways are peppered with ostentatious Excursion limos on Saturday nights, and fancy restaurants are suddenly cluttered with young ladies wearing far too much eyeshadow and reeking of hairspray. It's prom season!  And while not all of us enjoy sharing sidewalk space with underage revelers, it's hard to find anyone who doesn't appreciate a good prom scene.

Here are some of the most memorable high school prom moments from the big screen.
Most Saccharine Sweet Exchange:Twilight
Only Twilight's Bella would spend her very first slow dance with the man of her dreams complaining about his refusal to let her join his band of bloodsuckers. Eyerolls aside, it's hard not to be moved by the tenderness in Edward's gazebo gaze. A couple of movies later, the happy couple wed to the tune of their prom song: Iron and Wine's "Flightless Bird, American Mouth."

Zimbo for the rest
