NextMovie.com: 9 Movie Moms We Wish Were Ours

Mrs. Cullen made # 9! :)

9. Esme Cullen (Elizabeth Reaser), 'The Twilight Saga' (2008-2012)

Twilight
Summit
Most wouldn't want a vampire as a mom, but they might make an exception if they met Esme Cullen. Sure, she gets a little crazy if she smells blood, but for the most part she's warm, generous, loving, and welcoming, even if you're a human girl dating her favorite son. Once you're in her family, she'll do anything for you, even go to war against vampires and werewolves or babysit your half-breed baby. Oh, and she enjoys baseball, art, and home decorating. She's a pretty normal mom, really, except for the whole immortality and blood-drinking.

Mrs. Weasley also made the list! [i LOVE her!]

1. Mrs. Molly Weasley (Julie Walters), 'Harry Potter' (2001-2011)

Harry Potter
Warner Bros.
Sometimes, the best kind of mom is just a cuddly one, and that's Mrs. Weasley. She provides a home away from Hogwarts, the Dursleys, and Voldemort for Harry. Though she's known for delivering a Howler, spanking someone with a broomstick, or delivering a killing spell, she's pretty sweet and relaxed for a mom of seven (seven!). She's content if the house remains standing and everyone's happy, healthy, and alive. But best of all is her cooking. No matter what evil or disaster Voldemort and his Death Eaters are unleashing on the wizarding world, Mrs. Weasley always has an incredible meal waiting for her family and the Order of the Phoenix. We want her to adopt us just so we can have her onion soup, her bread, and her treacle tarts.

Youi can see you else made the list over at nextmovie.com

'Breaking Dawn': Exclusive New Pics!

We unveil photos of Bella, Edward, Jacob, and the Denali clan from ''The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1''; pick up new Entertainment Weekly magazine, on sale Friday, with dual covers for Team Edward AND Team Jacob, inside dish on film.
Bella enjoys ''morning-after'' eggs courtesy of new husband Edward on Isle Esme. ''I like the honeymoon scenes,'' Robert Pattinson says, ''because it's such a massive turnaround in Edward and Bella's relationship.''
Jacob receives his invitation to the wedding. ''He's still getting over losing out on Bella,'' says Taylor Lautner. ''By the end he's able to accept it and deal with it like a man.''
Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) greets members of the Denali (from left, Maggie Grace, Casey LaBow and MyAnna Buring) at Bella and Edward's wedding.

Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's (On-Screen) Honeymoon Photos

The Twilight teens are finally growing up.

In the next installment of the saga, Breaking Dawn – Part 1, Edward and Bella (played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) take their relationship to the next level.

"They make love for the first time, they get married and pregnant," says director Bill Condon.

Much of the vampire honeymoon was shot just outside of the Brazilian town of Paraty. "There's this incredibly sensual vibe down there," says Condon.

While Jacob, the werewolf played by Taylor Lautner doesn't get the girl in this one, he does manage to get over her, and in doing so "becomes a man," says Condon. At least he gets to ride a cool motorcycle.

Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser TWILIGHT ECLIPSE Poster

Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, and Elizabeth Reaser are the stars of this The Twilight Saga: Eclipse poster. They’re the three Cullen women, "sisters" and "mother" to Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen. (Click on the image to enlarge it.)
Ashley Greene, who, along with fellow player and Cullen family member Kellan Lutz, recently caused a furor because of difficult contract negotiations, plays Alice Cullen. Alice is the family’s perky, clairvoyant, fashionably conscious vampire.
Reed is Rosalie Cullen, the snotty vampire who would give it all to be human again. Rosalie both resents and envies Kristen Stewart’s all-too-human Bella Swan. (Well, things change somewhat in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.)
Elizabeth Reaser is Esme Cullen, the mother figure who was saved from death by being turned into a vampire. The pacifist vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli) "converted" Esme — and found himself a mate in the process.
Directed by David Slade, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in the United States and about a dozen other countries on June 30. Melissa Rosenberg adapted Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel.

New Moon style pt 2

Yesterday we got a look into Bella and Edward's costumes, today it is time to reveal the Cullens and Jacob's style.

'New Moon' Style EXCLUSIVE! Your Ultimate Guide To The Costumes, Part 2: The Cullens & Jacob

Our trip down memory lane with "New Moon," costume designer Tish Monaghan continues today when we take a sartorial magnifying glass to the wardrobes of the Cullen family and boy wonder Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Don't miss yesterday's look at Edward's and Bella's costumes either!

THE ENRICHED CULLENS
We know those Cullens are basically perfect, but one modification was made to the family’s closet for "New Moon." "Chris wanted to stay away from them looking as pastel as they did in the first film," Tish explained. “He thought they stood out too much. So he wanted them more of the world, but set apart within the color palette — so, just in cool colors.” Here, Alice (Ashley Greene, left) wears a blue dress by Rebecca Taylor and Rosalie (Nikki Reed, right) wears an Eli Tahari design.

MODERN HISTORY
One part of Tish’s design aesthetic for “New Moon” was making sure characters dressed in clothes that suited their back-story. For instance, you will always see Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) in cowboy boots — at Jackson’s request. “Jackson’s from Texas and so is Jasper,” she noted. “He was a major in the civil war, so that’s the thing he always holds on to.” Here, Jasper (center) wears a John Varvatos sweater, a Hugo Boss shirt and J.Lindeberg jeans. Emmet (Kellan Lutz, far left) is in a custom made vest, Hugo Boss shirt, Diesel Jeans and flaunts a Cullen Crest cuff. Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) wears a pale purple dress from Club Monaco.
Get the look (Esme)"Two Way Crinkle Chiffon Runway Dress" by Rebecca Taylor ($228)

DADDY DEAREST
“Peter [Facinelli] himself likes to think of his character as inspired by Paul Newman or Robert Redford,” Tish noted. “So he’s always dressed casual, yet put together.” Here, after Bella's birthday turns bloody, Carlisle wears a Theory suit and a Paul Smith shirt. Bella wears a dress made by Tish, which has since been replicated by Hot Topic for $98.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
“She’s like this pixie-ish character, whimsical and fashion conscious,” Tish said of Alice’s style. “She’s a girly girl, and wherever you can add details to her clothing it really helps cement her character — like when she’s in school I gave her the pretty neck scarf and the hand warmers and long sleeves. The blue jacket was from Zara.” On the right, in the scene when the Cullens vote on Bella’s vampire fate, Alice wears a blouse from Teenflo in Vancouver and J Brand Jeans.
Get the look (blue jacket) "Tullette Drawstring Jacket with Pockets" from Tulle ($27).

VIVA ITALIA!
Tish says her inspiration for Alice’s ensemble on her adventure to Italy with Bella was Audrey Hepburn. “I was thinking, how can we cover her up fashionably?” the costumer recalls. “I wanted to get her long gloves because I knew she was going to be driving in this Porsche, which initially we thought might be a convertible.” After finding the “perfect” coat (by Michael Kors), Tish decided on Theory pants, red leather gloves from the Italian fashion label Gala, a Banana Republic scarf and“Jackie O” Ray Ban sunglasses (which you catch a glimpse of when she first enters the Volturi lair).
Get the look (red gloves)Preston & York Ruched-Cuff Leather Gloves from Dillard's ($48).

JACKED UP JACOB
When the werewolf wasn’t shirtless, Tish says she outfitted him in Banana Republic and GAP t-shirts because “they fit really well and they had a little bit of stretch to them.” And if the site of Taylor’s bulging biceps had your hearts pumping, that was intentional. “We tailored his t-shirts so they showed off his muscles,” she explained. “We specifically made his shirts a little tighter, a little shorter and the sleeves a little bit too short, like he was growing out of them.”

A HIDDEN WOLF
That forest scene on Jacob’s tee (a graphic the “New Moon” costume department custom designed) was meant to be a tad literal, according to Tish. “The director said, ‘Why don’t you give him something that has a wolf on it?’” she remembered with a laugh. “It was as something that symbolized what was to come but didn’t hit the nail on the head. We tried not to make it so obvious but it did have a moon, a tree a very small image of a wolf.”

Birthday scene (Spoilers)

The Birthday party scene has been shown.  I thought it was really cool, I LOVE Emmett's lines.  Hope you enjoy the clip.

'New Moon' EXCLUSIVE 'Ulalume' Clip: Bella's Birthday Turns Bloody

With the whirl of TV spots, trailers, screen shots and scenes that Summit Entertainmenthas been releasing to promote "New Moon"(released in three weeks!), it's surprising we haven't seen the entire movie already. But Summit is taking the smart approach and, instead of releasing an actual new scene, they instead release an extended segment of something shown in a trailer. It's smart because not only does it whet our appetite, but the viewer still knows they have something to look forward to when the movie hits theaters.
Tonight's Ulalume Festival clip (see it after the jump!) was no different, showing Bella's birthday party before she gets her infamous paper cut. It's the first time we've gotten a good look at the Cullens since the first teaser, which also showed clips from the birthday party. This MTV exclusive clip gave us the chance to actually hear some interplay between our favorite vampire family.

"Dating an older woman, huh?" Emmet joked to his brother, who replied with a smile and a laugh. Yes, "Twilight" fans, if you will recall, Bella turns 18 with this birthday, making her one "year" older than the eternally-17 Edward. With now two years of comraderie under their belts, we're excited to see how the chemistry developed in this second installment of "The Twilight Saga."

Despite Nikki Reed's claim that Rosalie is becoming more forgiving as the saga rolls on, her clipped line of "It's a necklace. Alice picked it out" when she hands Bella her birthday present implies that character development must come at the end of the movie.
Alice tells Edward and Bella to "Show me the love" and snaps a photo we all wish we could have hanging from our mirrors. We get some great Emmett and Bella interaction when he almost refers to her truck as a "piece of crap" after telling her he installed a new radio for her present and she interrupts him with, "Hey, don't hate the truck."
But Esme and Carlisle give Bella the kiss of death when they pass over their present for the birthday girl, because it's the one that gives her the paper cut which will cause her beloved Edward to leave her. Esme has a great line with "You've been looking kind of pale lately" (who wants a vampire to tell them they are looking pale?) before Bella cuts her finger.
This clip cuts out the shot of Jasper lunging at Bella that we saw in the first teaser. The scene ends with Edward giving Jasper a nervous-yet-stern stare that made us get chills. Guess we'll just have to watch both the teaser and this clip over and over until we get a complete grasp of the full scene. There are worse ways to spend Halloween, right?

Elizabeth is not Esme

Elizabeth doesn't feel like she is Esme at all, that she is not that motherly.

'Twilight' Actress Elizabeth Reaser Says She's 'Nothing Like' Esme Cullen

'I don't relate to this type of character,' she says of the 'Twilight Saga' matriarch.

She may be the sweet, smiling matriarch of the most beloved vampire family in the world, but that doesn't mean Elizabeth Reaser can't still be a badass.
With just a few weeks remaining before "New Moon" hits theaters, we caught up with the 34-year-old actress sometimes known as Mrs. Esme Cullen during her final days on the "Eclipse" set. During an exclusive chat with MTV News, Reaser was eager to talk about ripping apart mountain lions, asking for Robert Pattinson's autograph, and why she thinks one of her co-stars should have played Esme instead.
MTV: What is the biggest difference, in your opinion, between the three "Twilight" books that are currently being filmed as the "Saga"?

Elizabeth Reaser: Oh, well, all three films are completely different. The first one is a vampire romance, a crazy love affair. There's so much sexual tension and romantic tension, and nothing ever goes down; you're going insane the whole time, and they're falling in love, and it's amazing. In the second one, obviously Bella is left behind, and her and Taylor [Lautner]'s character, Jacob, sort of fall in love — or do they? And she's devastated, and she's doing all of this risky stuff, and it's really a heartbreaking movie. There's all this danger going on in Italy, and Edward is thinking about killing himself — it's very, very, very different from the first one. And the third one is a full-on action movie. "Eclipse" is just crazy action and danger and vampires — and newborn vampires that are the most dangerous, powerful vampires of all.
MTV: What is your favorite scene in "New Moon"?
Reaser: I love Taylor in "New Moon"; he's amazing. There are great scenes with Taylor and Kristen [Stewart]. I just think they're really lovely together. I love those characters together. They're sort of falling in love, and it's an interesting love affair, because she's still in love with Edward, and she's devastated and heartbroken, and he's [gone. I also love] the birthday-party scene, because it's all the Cullens, and it's Bella's birthday, and Alice threw together this big party for her. And then she gets a paper cut, and it's really dangerous for her to get a paper cut at our house.
MTV: Who is your favorite new character that has joined the cast for the sequels?
Reaser: My favorite new character? That's very tricky. Actually, I like this girl who joined the ["Eclipse"] cast, Jodelle [Ferland]; she's playing Bree. ... In "New Moon," this guy Michael Sheen has joined our cast, and he is fantastic. He plays one of the Volturi, and those are great scenes in Italy with all the Volturi — they're just these total badass vampires. He's just a great actor.
MTV: As the "Saga" continues filming, do you feel like you're growing into your character more or less?
Reaser: No, I feel like I'm nothing like my character. It's interesting to me that I get cast as mothers and really maternal, sweet, nice people. ... Maybe I have a vulnerability or something; maybe that's what it is. But other than that, I don't relate to this type of character. She's so good and lovely, and it definitely makes me [a better person]. When I'm working, and I'm always trying to see people in their best light, it makes me a more generous person to play Esme, because I don't feel that. It's funny, but I think Bryce — who is playing Victoria, Bryce Dallas Howard — is the nicest, most amazing woman, and I feel like she should play Esme. I feel like she is Esme. She's so lovely and beautiful and kind and good. I nominate her to play Esme Cullen.
MTV: Do you own any "Twilight" memorabilia?
Reaser: My mom bought some Esme bracelets. I'm sure I could borrow one from her if I wanted to. But I don't have any memorabilia. I have my director's chair [backing]. But I should get something, take something back from set — maybe I could get Rob to sign it.
MTV: Vampires are one of the biggest costumes this Halloween, and there will be a lot of people dressed up as the "Twilight" characters this weekend.
Reaser: Really? Oh, that's really cool. I didn't know that.
MTV: What would it mean to you if you saw someone dressed as Esme?
Reaser: Wow, I would love to see someone dressed up as Esme. I think that would be so cool. It would definitely be a career highlight for me; I would love to see someone do that.
MTV: Finally, what in your opinion is the secret behind the success of the "Twilight Saga"?
Reaser: Well, I think the success of the "Saga" is the books. The books are just beautiful, amazing, great storytelling, and Stephenie is a great writer. And then, I think we got incredibly lucky with Kristen and Rob — they're just great actors, and you just can't not fall in love with them and want them to be together. You get invested in the two of them. That has a lot to do with it, and people are just really into vampires, so I think that has something to do with it. The Cullens, they're an interesting group of vampires. They're all really good, but kind of bad. I mean, theyare still vampires. I imagine Esme going out in the middle of the night and ripping apart a mountain lion. That's kind of fascinating.
