She may be into the big buff guys on screen, but when the cameras aren't rolling this Twilight vamp prefers to be in the arms of a man who will serenade her (don't we all?). Reed broke the news of her engagement to the American Idol singer to E! News at the MTV Movie Awards, and quickly after it was a wedding in Malibu and a duet love song. Sigh.E! for the rest

Nikki Reed talks to Rolling Stone, talks her new song
Nikki Reed and her husbandPaul McDonald wed last month, debuted their duet“Now That I Found You” on Ryan Seacrest‘s show on Monday, and then sang it during a Barnes & Noble appearance later this week.
Fans captured the couple’s cute moment with cell phone cameras.
In a video interview with Rolling Stone, Reed discusses this new side to her career.
“The only person that inspires what I write about is Paul, so that’s what those lyrics were about,” says the Breaking Dawn actress.

Nikki Reed's marriage to 'American Idol's' Paul McDonald had an assist from Taylor Lautner
Taylor Lautner wants credit for his matchmaking skills. His “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1” co-star, Nikki Reed, told us Lautner “seems to think he deserves a lot of credit” for her marriage to “American Idol” contestant Paul McDonald last month.
Reed, who attended the Cinema Society screening of the latest “Twilight” with her husband on Wednesday, explained that “Taylor is really into ‘American Idol’” and convinced her to begin following the show. So the brunette beauty was fully briefed when she met McDonald at the premiere of “Red Riding Hood” last March, and things progressed from there.
The newlyweds attended the DKNY-sponsored screening at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema, and stopped in briefly at the after-party at Sons of Essex. Her co-star Ashley Greene stayed longer and ended up fighting off the advances of a handful of flirty male lunkheads.

WORLD PREMIERE: Nikki Reed Debuts Duet with Hubby Paul McDonald, ‘Now That I Found You’ [AUDIO]
Nikki Reed called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” from “her spaceship” to talk about collaborating on a duet with new husband Paul McDonald, and revealed which ‘Twilight‘ cast members were invited to her wedding.
McDonald opens the song, “I hope your eyes just smile forever, only once I’ve told a lie / I hope these days go on forever and always right by your side / you’re all I want to know for the rest of my life.” If James Taylor and Rod Stewart had a musical baby, it would unequivocally be this song, ripe with emotion and overflowing with enough love to last a

However will the celebrity couple continue to create music together? “He really wants me to. He’s really supportive and encourages everything, so he wants to be a super team. I’m a little more shy. We’ve done some open mic’s together. I probably will end up doing it.”
Nikki revealed that her duet with husband Paul McDonald “happened about a month ago. Paul basically lives with a guitar strapped around his body, and he just walks around the house plays stuff; I’ve experimented with writing lyrics for other people in the past. He recorded the music, and on the way back from Europe, a week and a half ago, I just sat and wrote lyrics to his music. Then we went in this Saturday, and recorded it with Andre Harris.” Andre is an industry vet who has worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Mariah Carey to Usher.
Nikki took questions from fans on Ryan’s Facebook about a “more mature” Twilight.
Jenn asked via Facebook, “Who did you invite from the cast of ‘Twilight’ to your wedding” Nikki “invited a lot of people, but people that went were Jackson [Rathbone]and Taylor [Lautner] ended up coming to the wedding.”
Janie asked via Facebook ”What was it about Paul that made you decide he was the one? Nikki ”can’t remember ‘The Moment.’ It was just being that way. I guess it was jsut how funny he was. All the things that could bother me. I just works. Its like a puzzle. I’m not even articulate right now.”
Newlywed Nikki shared how the couple initially met saying “Paul is a big believer of fate, which is so cute, and he started to convince me. We met because I was suppose to be shooting in Vancouver…but instead I went to the premiere in LA. All the ‘American Idol’ contestants were there, and I just went to tell him that I thought that he was really fantastic, and then…I don’t know what happened! Then I got a ring!”

The 23-year-old Twilight star said "I do" to Paul McDonald, 27, on Sunday at a private Malibu ranch wearing a stunning Tacori gown with a 72-inch train.. "It was so feminine," she tells the new Us Weekly -- on stands Friday -- of her strapless frock.
Reed and McDonald, anAmerican Idol season 10 contestant, wanted their celebration to feel "like an outdoor music festival."
Among the 130 guests at the wedding were Reed's best pal and her man of honor DJ Quallsand actress Nia Vardalos.
