@AshleyMGreene watched tonight's #TheGleeProject finale!

I'm excited to know that Ashley Greene watched the Glee Project tonight and that she's happy with the winners!!

 I'm really excited for these winners ! (Yes, i am a fan of the Glee Project and have been following the show since it's first episode!) I am hoping Ashley is more excited for Damian McGinty though!

[WARNING!!!: For the rest of this post, I'm going be ranting about Damian.]

Now, i have been a fan of Damian's ever since  he started performing with a group called Celtic Thunder. The first thing i ever heard Damian sing was 'Puppy Love' (he was so adorable!)

I have watched him grow up with Celtic Thunder and i am proud of all that he has accomplished since he started performing with them. Now that he has won The Glee Project, i have to accept the fact that he will not be returning to Celtic Thunder. :( Personally, i am sad to see him leave CT and i knew there was a possibility this would happen since the beginning of The Glee Project [yet i have still been supporting him through his whole journey]. But I am excited that he won and that he gets to do something i know he's been dreaming of doing and so i can't say it's really a bad thing. 

Being able to watch Damian in Glee is going to be amazing! That's for sure! 

I can't wait for the new season of Glee to start. I am so curious to see how he will be introduced!

Now, my whole purpose for this post was to honor and share my favorite Damian performances from Celtic Thunder, so here we go! (Click on each picture to see the performance) :

To close this special post, i would just like to express my appreciation to Damian. I think it's appropriate to say that Damian an inspiration to us all. By winning, he has taught us that it is possible for ones dreams to come true. All you have to do is work hard and BELIEVE!
I would also like to thank Damian for his music.It has gotten me through some rough patches in my life and i don't know what i would do if i did not have his music by my side. His music has also helped keep an open mind when it comes to music. I will be honest by saying that if it wasn't for Damian, i wouldn't know what Celtic Thunder was and so i would be missing out in an amazing musical experience.

 Thank You Damian. For so sharing your amazing talent to the world.
And so , this is my way of saying hello to his new beginning . . .

Vampire Expert: Rob's Edward Cullen Is A Safe Vampire

A vampire academic of the University of Texas has described the Robert Pattinson's Twilight character Edward Cullen as a 'starter vamp'.

Dr Thomas Garza, a vampire expert  and who teaches vampire lore recently commented on the popular Twilight novels written by Stephanie Meyer. He explained the books and movie series have created a new vampire trend.
He told Reuters: "I would say that it is The Twilight Saga in particular that has brought out the younger teen fans. In that connection, Edward is a very 'safe' vampire, a kind of 'starter vamp' for beginners, if you will.".

"He's pretty, yes, so the seduction's there, but he's more than reluctant to act on his and Bella's sexual desires," he added. "He can go out in daylight - and even 'sparkles' in the sun, giving him a completely non-threatening character. He drives a Volvo, for goodness sake."
According to Dr Garza, youths are aspiring to be like vampires not just because of their eternal youth or immortality but because they are being protrayed as these attractive fashionable beings.
Other vampire shows have aleady commented on Twilight's Edward Cullen. True Blood's Stephen Moyer previously compared the character to a 'pussy' and the 'Diet Coke of vampires', whilst Joss Wheadon, the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, said 'Angel would have Edward Cullen down in a heartbeat.'

TwilightNinjas "Welcome to the Rileys" Review

Id like to start off by saying that I apologize for not finishing/posting this review right after I saw Welcome to the Rileys. I’ve been busy preparing for school finals so I’ve been trying to juggle a lot at once (which I do not recommend by the way cause it wasn’t getting me anywhere until I organized a schedule). Secondly, i would like to thank Sony for contacting us 7 letting us know about the private screening :). Anyway, enough about that. On to the review!

 

**Note I am going to be 100% honest in this review. If anyone dislikes anything I have to say, I would appreciate it if you kept to yourself because you were warned at the beginning.  Don’t worry though, I didn’t write anything so bad your going to hate me, but just in case (you know?).**

For those of you who have seen it, you know very well how the story line of the film goes. For those who haven’t, here's a link to the overview of what WTTR is about: Link

Now, my thoughts:

In general, I loved the movie. There were a few hahas here and there that tended to break the “ice” when things were serious. Kristen did a great job playing her role. Although, the character she plays is a serious hot mess, she played it well. I loved the fact the script calls her to use a lot of profanity cause it made her performance seem more powerful at some points, but also gave Kristen’s character a “natural” touch. The only problem I had with her character was the fact that there were parts that were unnecessary (no, I‘m not talking about R rated parts). I‘m talking about a few extra parts that just didn’t really make sense why they where there in the first place. Like when Lois goes outside of the motel she was staying in to look up at the sky. it just didn’t make sense to see that and just frankly took time off of something else they could’ve placed in instead of that. Although, I do wish we could’ve seen more of Kristen pole dancing cause this is what her character makes a living out of (I thought we would see more of this). I mean they don’t give us a clear view of this (they give us a blurry view with her dancing in the background. yeah… that was basically nothing.). Therefore, the way Mallory gets introduced was a bit of a yawn for me (cause she just pops out of nowhere.). [No, I’m not a Krisbian…lol. I’m just a fan.] 
 Erm….moving on! Let’ see……ah! One of my favorite scenes was when Mallory goes bra shopping with Lois and she says something like “I don’t know what happened. I think I got my dad‘s”.lol (It‘s too inappropriate to write what the actual scene was about, but if you watched it, you know what I’m talking about…lol. ).

Although there were parts of the script that I didn’t like, I do think it was unusual because it had the feeling of how Mallory and Doug’s stories/lives interact with one another.When Doug decides to take care of Mallory, he seems to look at this as his opportunity to rescue her from this horrible life she’s been forced to live in and be the father he didn’t get to become for his own daughter. Although, later on we realize he was just someone searching for a meaning in his life. I thought what Doug did was great and all, I mean him helping Mallory out, but who would really make that kind of a decision just like that? That was just too unreal for me cause Doug basically walks away from everything he had (and that just never happens,. people plan if the ever want to walk out. unless of course you don't have anything  to walk out on for starters).

Now Lois. I'm not sure how i felt about her. When she first meets Mallory she runs off cause of what Doug told her. yeah, we all know why but something about that just didnt make sense to me(it's hard to explain).

Lastly, the ending was ok. everyone moves on and everything but couldn't they have had Mallory say bye to Doug and Lois face to face? i think that would've left a stronger last impression.

Happy TwilightNinjas birthday RobstenFan!

So I figured out the perfect time for this, right when it it November 19th for me and November 18th for you.  It is exactly one year since you started helping with this Blog and became a full fledged Ninja.  While this is being posted you are waiting in line for your other big passion: Harry Potter 7 and I hope that you enjoy the movie and this is a little something extra to make the day that much better.
It is crazy to think back and remember all that we have been through and how far we have come.  This past year working with you has been great, you are my best friend and we live in different parts of the Country.  I know I tell you this a lot, but I don't think it can be said enough: I don't know what I would do without you as a friend and co-blogger.  Last year at this time I was over whelmed and then you came along to help.  We couldn't have found a better person.  I know for a fact that if it weren't for you TwilightNinjas would not be here anymore.  
We have a lot more great things ahead of us and thousands of more posts to come ;)

Twilightninjas Exclusive: LA Eclipse Screening Review [6/14]

***NOTE: I hope you all enjoy this post. I know it‘s a bit long but I wanted all of you to know how things went down down last night. [This is basically how i saw everything & what i did] **
Last night I attended the Eclipse screening in LA at the Chinese Mann 6 theater in Hollywood. I arrived around 6:30 pm, it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be, but once I got inside, i find that the theater was pretty much full already! I ended up sitting on the 3rd front row [seat3].. I had a feeling it was a good place to sit. Everyone got settled down by 7:30 pm I think & they started the movie. About 10mins into the movie, there were”technical difficulties” [I thought, “yeah right”] & turn the lights out. I had a feeling something big was about to happen. And sure enough, Jimmy Kimmel’s head pops up on the screen! [Everyone screaming! ] I couldn’t really hear what he said after, because all the screaming wouldn’t die down. But then we see he has Kristen, Rob, & Taylor with him! They allowed them to say hey through  the live feed [there was lots of screaming by now]& we find out they could see us too! Rob was all laughs [gave us a wave],as was Taylor, & Kristen was smiling [I think they loved our reaction].  After a  minute or so of seeing out beloved trio on the live feed, Jimmy asked us if we wanted to see an onset kiss! Of course everyone started screaming again. Kristen was shaking her head & laughing nervously, so she take  Rob’s & Taylor’s heads, & bumps them against each other [softly]. Rob & Taylor are all laughs.  After that, jimmy asks us if we want to see some of the stars from the movie! of course, the screaming starts again , & we see Xavier,Bryce, Peter, & Dakota come out from the exit from the front left side of the theater! I was so close , that I could see the blue color of Peters eyes! By now, the fans are screaming, clapping, & just going nuts! After the noise dies down, Peter announces that they were here to play out scenes form the movie because of the “technical difficulties”.  people are screaming yet again with excitement [yup, I know…there‘s a lot of “screaming” I‘m mentioning. There was A LOT of hat happening…can you blame us?…lol]. Of course Peter was just joking, but after a few minutes, the were ushered out to head back to the jimmy kimmel show. Peter looked like he wanted to stay, but some pulled him along [I guess the were telling him they needed to go.]. On his way out,he sighs some autographs, gives out a few hugs, & leaves with the rest of them [I knew I should‘ve sat on the 1st row! Oh well, at least I was close enough to see them really close!].while they step out, they dim the light, & start the movie from the beginning. After the movie was over [around 9:30 pm], i stayed for the closing credits & then left. Now, what do you think  i did after?!
 
i went Eclipse shopping of course. i ended up leaving Hollywood around 10p.m. All in all, it was amazing evening!

Ok, now, here is my review about the movie:
IT WAS A-M-A-I-Z-I-N-G!!! seriously just breath taking. The scenes are all played out so well. I loved how they introduce Rob & Kristen's  first scene [*small spoiler*: this is not the 1st scene of the movie]. Now, I am going to list some of my favorite scenes. [Don‘t worry, you all know these are in the movie, since they‘re in the book]:
~Charlie’s sex talk:
 it’s really funny. I can’t really say much about how this scene plays out without giving up details [which I won’t], but it does not disappoint! 
~Sleep over with Edward: 
OME! This scene is just so sweet [besides the hotness]! I mean we all know what the books says [of course that‘s in the movie (not really a spoiler)], but they add something so sweet to this scene, that makes it just perfect. I can’t say if it’s before or after the really HOT scene, but I loved it. Oh! And just to let you know, the pics of this scene [that have released] do not do it’s justice of exactly how HOT it really is!
~The tent scene: 
There’s humor & drama in this scene. I mean, it’s intense! It’s exactly how  I pictured it. I can’t say much, without giving something away, but I can promise you it will not dissappoint!
~The battle scenes [New borns v.s. Cullens & pack / Edward & seth v.s. Riley & Victoria]: 
The graphics are amazing! How they’re all played out, is just mind blowing! There’s a lot happening in these scenes everywhere you look! The book  describes bot battels well, & i know everyone has there ideas on how they play out. But when you see them in the film, I know they wont dissappoint!
The movie in general is REALLY amazing [I know I‘m repeating myself, but it‘s the truth!]. I can honestly say David Slade did a terrific job putting Eclipse together. 
Now here are some other things you might want to know [not sure if you can call these spoilers]:
~Jasper fans! : 
Jackson will have more lines in this film. That’s all I’m going to say.
~Jacob fans!: 
The shirt stays off for most of the scenes.
~Edward fans!!!: 
Unlike in New Moon, we do see lots of Edward in this one. WARNING!: Angry Edward takes Edward to a whole new level of HOTNESS!
~make sure you read “The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner”
~Small soundtrack spoiler! : “Neutron Star Cullision” is NOT played in the ending credit like people thought.
**So I hope you all enjoyed my small review of Eclipse. I wanted to say more, but it‘s impossible without spoiling something[which is probably what most of you want, but just can‘t do it. Meeting Ashley Greene!!!

I know this is about 4 days old, but i promised Carrie that i was going to write something about this. And frankly, i wanted to do this too! [sorry it's late] So anyways......
I hope most of you have seen these pictures of Ashley Greene on the Bonnie Hunt Show the other day...

I got the lucky (maybe a once in a life time) oppotunity to meet Ashley Greene face to face!
I won this: Twitter contest! (How lucky was I?! :D)
At first, i got to be honest with you, i didn't really believe it [this because i'm one of those people who never win anything -.-]. I received a DM on Twitter (about a week ago now) from the show asking me if i could make it this Thursday (12/4).
So i emailed then telling them yes ( i thought it was just to attend to be in the audience or something). The next day i get an email that says:
"Hi Daisy -

Congrats!!!  
my blackberry just died so I am emailing you from my personal email.
I will get back to you with the details about Thursday shortly.
Thanks and again, congrats!!!

The Bonnie Hunt Show"~(11/28)
Congrats?! For what?!...I wasn't really sure what she ment by that at first...then i thought" maybe it might be about that Twitter contest". And so i replyed with a "thank you" and waited.
About 2 days later i get emailed by  someone from "the audience dept.". i got really excited before i opened it because it said "Bonnie Hunt VIP Tickets (VIP TWILIGHT WINNER)‏"[11/30].OME OME OME!  I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! (it literally took me a whole whole hour [or more] to cool down after i opened it!). After that, i was set to meet Ashley Green on that Thurday!
So Thurdays finally came around, and i freaked out that morning because in only hours, i was going to meet ASHLEY GREENE! :D
I got to the studis about mid-day, and i still couldn't beleive this was accually happening! i was told i would be called to meet Ashleafter her interview. So, when Ashley came on set to do her intervoew i started shaking! i didn't know what i was going to do when it was finally time!
Finally, Ashley's interview was over, and she went back stage. Seconds after that, someone came to fetch me from my seat and was led to a small room backstage to wait. While i waited (nervously) i talked to some of the people (who worked there) about New Moon. then there was a knock on the door. the next thing i remeber was a sweet voice sayong "hi!". IT WAS HER! IT WAS REALLY HER! ASHLEY GREENE IN THE FLESH!
The first thing i did was greet her with a "hi!" and a hug! Then she looks over my shoulder and says"Oh my god! What is that?!" i turned around and saw she was looking at my ipod cover.She takes it and i explain to her what it was, and she says "oh my god really?!.... They make Twilight everything these days!". [Seriously people, ever since Ashley touched my ipod touch that day, i haven't touched it with my own hands! i keep it in a plastic baggy! lol] So after that, i got to talk to her fave to face about some of her life. Like where she used to live when she first moved to Cali., what she was studying, what her inspirations are, how she likes working in all this, some of her likes, dislikes, and other stuff. A few minutes later, i was allowed to have Ashley autograph something for me: i choose page 100 in my NM Companion book. She wrote:
"Hey Daisy,
It was nice meeting you! Thanks for all the support!

(I will seriously charish that book forever!)
After that they took pictures (which you saw at the top), and told me that was it (*bummer*). So, i hugged her good bye, informed her that my shoutbox girls love her and wish her good luck, and a Happy New year (she said "Thank god this year is finally over!"). She walks along the side of me while they escort me out to my seat again, and my last glipse of her is her walking into a small room lounge and grabs a snack (not sure what it was, but i saw her reaching for a plastic bag). 
All in all, that was the BEST DAY EVER! She was really nice and down to earth. I can say this: meeting her in person made me love her even more!
