The Hillywood Show® has been trying to raise funds for their next project,the highly anticipated, BREAKING DAWN PARODY! It’s been difficult, but with the help of amazing fans like you, we hope we can reach it!
The Hillywood Show® is dreaming big to make BREAKING DAWN PARODY the best they can! Two secret destinations are being considered! We want to bring you a production you will never forget!
The Hillywood Show® is a non funded production company. Hilly & Hannah Hindi take from their personal work earnings to make fun parodies for audiences across the world to enjoy, laugh and love. Many fans of The Hillywood Show® have already donated towards the show and other fans have supported Hillywood® by purchasing t-shirts etc from official merchandise! Back in July of 2011, The Hillywood Show® issued a Go Fund Me project for the popular, HARRY POTTER PARODY. With the help of fans, The Hillywood Show® was able to cover the remaining amount of funds that were needed for that production.

The Hillywood Show's 'Eclipse' Parody Premieres, Lady Gaga Meets Edward Cullen

How did it take two pop-cult phenoms like Lady Gaga and Edward Cullen so long to collaborate? It's a mystery, for sure, but if you're a fan of the zeitgeisty sensations, then you owe a debt of gratitude to the Hindi sisters. The pint-sized producers behind The Hillywood Show just released their third "Twilight" parody (this time of "Eclipse"), and let's just say Washington's vampire population is getting a taste for Little Monsters.
The 10-minute spoof opens on Bella and Edward deep in conversation atop Edward's newly purchased canopy bed (oh la la!). Ethereal chanting wafts in the background. That is, until Bella bursts into full Gaga mode (black leather and ridiculous headpiece included), belting out "Bad Romance." It is, indeed, a "Bad Romance," not only because a healthy, loving relationship between a human and a vampire is almost unheard of, but there's also a third-wheel werewolf to contend with. In fact, the line, "I don't want to be friends," crooned by Taylor Lautner's doppelganger is pretty much the definition of apropos.
Yet, as fitting an anthem as Lady Gaga's hit is for the Saga's love triangle, it's the spoof's less-featured second song, Jordin Spark's "Battlefield," that feels most appropriate. After all, it's Edward and Bella's forbidden love that incites the movie's epic battle finale. With "Bad Romance" having hit its saturation point many moons ago, its use just seems so...expected. When I reviewed The Hillywood Show's "New Moon" parody earlier this year, I applauded the sisters' use of spot-on ditties, but this time, it just feels a bit been there, done that.
That isn't to say there's not a lot to love about this parody, including the little details that really make it shine. One of my favorites was the actors' recreation of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's breathtaking couture Harper's Bazaar photoshoot. (The frocks were almost identical!). Other choice moments include a shirtless shapeshifter dance party and a giggle-worthy re-imagining of the tent scene that includes grenades and automatic weapons. (We did say love is a "Battlefield.")
With "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" not due in theaters until next November, it'll be at least a year before the next "Twilight"-inspired Hillywood Show parody debuts, but in this vid's closing moments, the gang gave us a hint of what to expect in the follow-up: feathers. Lots and lots of feathers. So scandalous.

The Hillywood Show New Moon Parody is a refreshing look on a new side of Bella, who is a strong woman going back and forth between Edward and Jacob. This parody shows that Bella could in fact be happy with either Edward or Jacob, strong enough to stand on her own and not be co-dependent on Edward alone. Also, this gives an alternate ending for the fans who favor Jacob over Edward, hoping she will choose him in the end. I think this parody sends an empowering message to its viewers, expressing that Bella is independent enough to pick which man she wants to be with and not reliant on either of them for her ultimate happiness. This parody is the exact opposite of what Christian-Smith says, “Men give meaning and completeness to women’s lives” (Bitten, 73), while this new Bella makes her life complete on her own, with or without her men.
The new Bella in The Hillywood Show New Moon Parody is far from the original helpless Bella, while she is secure enough with herself to be able to be comfortable with either man she chooses. Watching the parody fulfills that hope we had for her, pulling herself up by her bootstraps and overcoming her insecurities that were holding her back from becoming the ultimate protagonist. Toscano says, “Meyer justifies both questioning and disobeying leadership; she privileges listening to one’s conscience over following orders of established authority” (Bitten, 27). This quote even applies to the parody, when The Hillywood Show gives Bella disobedient behaviors, showing her rebellious side dressed up in leather, riding motorcycles, choosing Jacob, and rocking out to a girl power song by Pink. The lack of following orders in the parody is portrayed when Bella is sitting on the thrown of the Volturi, dancing and singing that, “And I don’t need you, and guess what, I’m having more fun, and now that we’re done, I’m gonna show you tonight, I’m alright, I’m just fine, and you’re a tool, so what” (Pink, “So What”). This empowered Bella creates her own leadership and finally rises above the cliché helpless woman from the saga that didn’t have a backbone of her own. Girl power Bella’s guts set her apart from the saga, and complete the positive message that she will figure her situation out on her own and overcome any obstacles in her way.
The Hillywood Show New Moon Parody is a successful ten minute long portrayal of the opposite of what really happens in New Moon, but the new storyline is imperative for all Twilighters to recognize. Every story has two sides, in order to understand fully the original storyline; it helps to look at the differing sides to recognize which one we relate with more personally. In my opinion, the independent Bella sends the correct messages to young adult female readers that they do not need a man to make them whole and complete like Christian-Smith says, but to be secure in who they are as a person.
