Our Q&A With Justine Wachsberger

We've been talking to the stars of the movie non-stop lately, but we recently got the chance to chat with Justine Wachsberger, the actress who plays Gianna in the movie! She had a GREAT experience on set and raved about the cast!

Popstar!: Tell us about your character in the movie!

Justine: I play Gianna. a human receptionist who works for the Volturi. She's of Italian descent and I think shes really interesting because she's this human that decides to work for the vampires and would risk her life to become one of them.

Popstar!: Was the audition process intimidating for you given the massive popularity of the series?

Justine: I actually auditioned for a different role at first! Obviously I had seen the first movie and I had heard about the whole phenomenon. It;s a role like any other but there is that pressure like, OK this role could change my life. Or at least open doors for me.

Popstar!: Were you able to meet a lot of the cast?

Justine: I got to meet a lot of them! I haven't really met the wolf pack. I became really good friends with some of the Volturi cast. I made great friends and it was exciting!

Popstar!: What were your impressions about Rob, Kristen, and the other huge stars on the cast? 

Justine: I really didn't expect them to be as nice and friendly and as down-to-earth as they were. They're totally normal!

Justine Wachsberger!!

Justine plays Gianna in Twilight Saga: New Moon (November 20).  Gianna is the receptionist for the Volturi.  She is a way that Edward, Bella and Alice get out of Italy alive, by pointing out that there is another human who knows the secret vampire world.

She has also been in Sorority Row and First Daughter.

While it is a small part, I look forward to seeing her as Gianna because that such a huge scene in New Moon.

Hopefully she is in more movies in the future because she is very pretty and Im sure she is a great actress (Summit sure likes her).

I never know what to think of good ol' Ted C at the Awful Truth..so take what you want from this. I don't know. Justine better not be going with Charlie though!! *sigh*

How Will The New Moon Premiere Go Down? 

In an exclusive interview yesterday, New Moon's Justine Wachsberger—she plays Gianna—confirmed just how secretive Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are on set.

While she said she did not think they would hit the carpet together for the premiere next month, since Robsten is über-private, Justine did give us some fun predictions:

Do you think Taylor Lautner will bring Taylor Swift now that they've been spotted together?

I hope Taylor brings Taylor! He is so sweet, and I haven't met her, but she seems amazing. They are cute together!

Who are you bringing?

I'm possibly going to be going with one of the cutest guys from the cast in my opinion, but we will see! Nothing is set in stone yet.

We have a good guess on who that might be. What are you wearing to the premiere?

I actually have a few dresses in mind, one is this beautiful cream color with a black bead overlay, however, I haven't made a final decision yet. I am probably going to go with something short and fun, yet still elegant.

Any predictions for the other girls on set?

I am thinking that Kristen will wear something funky, she has an amazing style that is all her own. Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene could do something more classic, I can't wait to see what everyone picks. I think '80s influences are still in the mix this fall, so you will probably see some of that on the carpet.

How excited are you guys?

I went to the premiere last year and it was insane. I am sure this year will be similar. I can't wait!

Now! Ready for some of A.T.'s predictions?

Look for Rob and Kristen to take some smoldering pics together, but they won't be getting out of the same limo (even though they might be leaving from the same place).

As for Tay and Tay? We wouldn't be surprised if Miss Swift was an "additional celebrity guest expected."

And as for red carpet style? Look for Nikki to work it like no other in a sexy number, with Paris Latsis lurking somewhere along the carpet.

The actress who plays Gianna in New Moon is talking about the movie and her fellow costars Kristen and Rob.  She also gives a few secrets from set, like what scenes Stephenie was there for.

Filming for Eclipse, the third installment in the Twilight Saga is almost complete, but have you forgotten about New Moon? Neither did we!  The sequel to Twilight introduces fans to the royal vampire family, the Volturi, and we joined New Moon star Justine Wachsberger at a photo shoot were she exclusively told RadarOnline.com about her role as Gianna in the movie. However, we don’t have any spoilers for you since Justine hasn’t seen the movie yet. “I can’t reveal my scene, but it’s pretty true to the book, they didn’t really change anything,” she told us as she had her hair and makeup done for a glamorous photo shoot.

For fans who are just getting to know the French born beauty, she gave a glimmer of hope that she might be back, despite Stephenie Meyer revealing that she did die.  “I’m hoping they’ll bring me back in Breaking Dawn to see me die,” Justine said. Stephenie was on set while Justine was filming and even paid her a huge compliment.  “She told me, oh you look so pretty,” Justine told RadarOnline.com

Justine is in a pivotal scene in the movie with Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and she told us that having Rob go from his real British accent to his faux American accent wasn’t difficult on the set. “I like him with his British accent,” she said. So does everyone else, including his co-star and rumored love interest Kristen Stewart.  “She was actually really funny,” Justine told us about working with Kristen, who she said was one of her favorite people on set.  “She does have that side to her where she’s kind of shy, but at the same time she’s pretty funny.”

While some of the cast have become recognizable household names, that recognition hasn’t happened quite yet for Justine.  The first day she went to the set she told us she had a problem with security. “They thought I was a fan,” she said.  “Security arrived all around and said this is a closed set, you can’t be on set.”  Luckily for her she was able to convince them she was in fact in the movie, and was able to start work!

The University of Southern California graduate, who also starred in Sorority Row, revealed to RadarOnline.com what she did with her New Moon paycheck – “It paid for my acting classes.”
