The fandom is definitely buzzing throughout the world with the New Moon release date just around the corner, and Eclipse well under way up in Vancouver. Don't worry, we understand that some people just don't have as much time as we do here at Twilight Ninjas. We understand that some people just don't have the time to sit and read every last thing that they find.

So, here is a quick run down of the past weeks Twilight worthy news.

A Fifth Twilight Movie? Summit Says, No!
Starting the week on a hopeful Twilight high note, Twilight Saga actor Boo Boo Stewart revealed in a recent interview that there would be a fifth Twilight Saga film after Breaking Dawn. But just as Twilight fans were giddy and breaking dawn with excitement, Summit Entertainment put the Twilight kibosh on the fifth Twilight Saga film rumor by issuing a statement, which reads: "We appreciate our young actor's enthusiasm for the franchise and his role," revealed reps from Summit, "but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate. However, the fans should rest assured that we're working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen."

The New Moon Board Game.
On the Twilight related home entertainment front, it was announced last week that a New Moon board game will be avaiable, so that Twilight Saga fans will soon be able to play New Moon at home. Whether the New Moon board game is better than the Twilight game is still up for Twilight grabs, as the New Moon game won't be available until October 2009. Still, Twilighters can roll the Twilight Saga dice and pre-order the new New Moon board game at Amazon.


Dakota Fanning Goes From Jane to Dorothy?

New Moon actress Dakota Fanning, who plays Volturi vampire Jane in New Moon, was apparently tapped for the female lead in the upcoming Wizard of Oz sequel. Now that the Twilight Saga era is in full swing, Dakota Fanning could be attached to another high profile project post New Moon in The Wizard of Oz. Will more Twilight Saga stars wind up in Oz along with Dakota?

Another new Twilight Saga face made headlines this week as fans of Eclipse got to see Bryce Dallas Howard as the new replacement vamp Victoria in the third Twilight film. It was the first time Twilight fans laid eyes on Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria who was pictured locking Eclipse lips with Twilight Saga actor Xavier Samuel, who plays Riley.

Pattinson and Stewart Shacking Up?
The Twilight week wouldn't be complete without a juicy Twilight Saga romance rumor about New Moon stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Last week Twilight Saga fans were fed rumors that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were looking for a place to move into together. Although Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have denied a romance of the Twilight Saga sets, the Pattinson, Stewart love rumors persist since it's obvious the press has moved into the Twilight Saga with each other.

Robert Pattinson Presence in New Moon Explained
Much talk about New Moon has centered around the Twilight screen time Robert Pattinson receives in New Moon as Edward Cullen? New Moon director Chris Weitz revealed the goods on Pattinson in New Moon and how Twilight fans will see more of Robert Pattinson as Cullen than they think. Weitz revealed how he and the New Moon crew utilized the New Moon dreams of Bella Swan to fit Robert Pattinson into the Twilight sequel as much as possible.

Twilight Convention Hits the Road
Summit Entertainment officially partnered up for a Twilight Convention tour that will make the Twilight rounds across the U.S. over the next three years. If you want to see your favorite Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn star in a city near you, the Twilight Convention tour may soon sweep into a town near you under the cover of a new moon.

More Twilight Saga on film surfaced last week as MTV received the exclusive poster for the Twilight Saga documentary and revealed it to Twilight fans. Titled Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town, the upcoming Twilight documentary showcases the tiny Twilight town of Forks, Washington.


A New Moon Breakup.

Although this reads like a tabloid Twilight rumor, the latest Twilight Saga breakup is legit since it applies to the New Moon. In a recent Twilight interview, New Moon co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner candidly admitted the challenges of shooting the New Moon breakup scene. Breaking up is hard to do, but apparently much easier for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart who, as tabloids have it, have been in and out of a tabloid fuelled relationship since the release of Twilight in 2008.

By now every Twilight fan knows the name, Joan Jett, mainly because of Twilight and New Moon actress Kristen Stewart and her role as rocker Joan Jett in the upcoming film Runaways, which also stars her New Moon co-star, actress Dakota Fanning. With Kristen Stewart playing Jett in Runaways, the real life Joan Jett revealed her take on how Stewart was handling the Runaways role. Contrary to the Twilight tabloid copy, Jett gives Stewart a thumb up.

As all of the Twilight Saga cast members come out of the New Moon shadows to talk Twilight, Radar Online caught up with Twilight Saga actress Christian Serratos who commented on the rumors of a Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart romance. When asked if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are dating, Serratos replied giggling, "Hell if I know." Good answer.

Another Twilight Saga star stepped up to the Twilight plate to answer questions about Eclipse, as Justin Chon revealed to Radar Online a few new "threequel" tidbits for the Twilight fans. In the Eclipse interview, Justin Chon, who plays human Eric Yorkie in the third Twilight Saga film, dished about how he gets his hands dirty in the third Twilight Saga film and also talked about the New Moon script that was found in the trash a few months ago.

When it comes to New Moon werewolves, Taylor Lautner is the talk of the Twilight town given his sleek, washboard-type abs. However, other Twilight members of the New Moon wolf pack are in great shape, too, especially New Moon actor Alex Meraz who plays hotheaded lycan, Paul. To demonstrate his New Moon wolf-like prowess, Meraz posted a YouTube video of his New Moon shirt ripping skills.

No Kings of Leon for New Moon Soundtrack.
Although the New Moon soundtrack has landed big names like Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Bon Iver, and Band of Skulls, the one group that New Moon director Chris Weitz really wants on the Twilight Saga sequel soundtrack is Kings of Leon who revealed last week New Moon won't be in their future. According to Billboard, Kings of Leon are thinking of a single release for "Only By Night" and other musical happenings on their immediate horizon and will not be contributing a song to the New Moon soundtrack.

Death Cab for Cutie New Moon Single.

New Moon soundtrack news ramped up this week as Death Cab for Cutie announced that their single, "Meet Me on the Equinox" will be the first single on the New Moon soundtrack in terms of placement. MTV will feature the premiere of "Meet Me on the Equinox" on their website during the MTV Music Awards on September 13.

For many Twilight fans the Volturi vampire clan is their favorite aspect of the Twilight Saga beyond the love triangle between the characters of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. Last week Summit Entertainment unleashed a barrage of New Moon photos of the Volturi, which includes Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, and Jamie Campbell Bower. Although we weren't sure what to expect, a red-eyed Dakota Fanning looks cool as a Volturi vamp in New Moon.

Now that filming on Eclipse is underway in Vancouver, shots of Robert Pattinson on Eclipse have surfaced. In the Eclipse photos, Pattinson can be seen on set in full Edward Cullen make-up looking Twilight sexy.

More Twilight related photos of Robert Pattinson emerged last week when Pattinson arrived to work on Eclipse in a car. Although Robert Pattinson is obscured by a glare on the windshield in dark sunglasses, the photos made us think of how Pattinson could show up to work in a gorilla mask and Twilight fans would still faint.

Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz No-Shows at Twilight Convention.
It was the first stop on the Twilight Convention tour, which quickly resulted in two Twilight Saga cast no-shows. According to Celebuzz Twilight Saga actors Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene bailed out of the first Twilight Convention tour stop in New Jersey due to scheduling conflicts. As a result of the Twilight disappearing act by Lutz and Greene, Twilight Convention organizers offered Twilight Saga fans a partial refund. However, the refund was only to Twilight fans who purchased special autograph and photo tickets for the Twilight stars.

Taylor Lautner Talks New Moon.
As more tidbits of New Moon news trickle in from the New Moon set visit in Vancouver B.C., Twilight interview thoughts from Taylor Lautner surfaced as Lautner dished about his favorite New Moon scene, the wig and tattoos of Jacob Black, and the biggest challenge of filming a Twilight Saga films. According to Taylor Lautner, the weather was a major Twilight force in executing New Moon. And for Lautner it was even more of a Twilight challenmge since Taylor goes shirtless in New Moon.
