A for Allure
"New Moon" star Kristen Stewart graces the cover of the fashion mag's November issue. MTV got a sneak peak at the interview, in which Stewart said she hates being held to the Hollywood standard of beauty.
"I go outside and I'm wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty and people say, `What's wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush,'" she said.
B for Bella
Stewart also told Allure that reports that she plays the role of Bella Swan only begrudgingly is false.
"You're so very much with Bella," she said. "You're so in her shoes that it's a vicarious experience. It's addictive."
C and D for "New Moon" soundtrack
All good things come to those who wait? Nah.
The "New Moon" soundtrack was set to drop next Tuesday, but now it's become the rare album to have its release date pushed up. Summit Entertainment issued a release saying "due to overwhelming and unprecedented demand," the soundtrack will come out Friday.
E for Edward
Robert Pattinson, who plays "New Moon's" brooding vampire Edward, once told Esquire that he finds silences uncomfortable and that he often babbles to avoid them. Well, his quirk is the Sydney Morning Herald's gain.
In a new interview, Pattinson grinned while insisting that fellow teen idol Taylor Lautner is the hunk in "New Moon."
"I'm not the lead in the second film. Taylor is. ... So I'm more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn't have to deal with any of the bull---- of the first one. I don't have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures."
F for Fair-haired Swedish indie rockers
Lykke Li's song "Possibility" is on the "New Moon" soundtrack, an album she told MTV she wants to be as good as that of another teen-oriented movie. "I remember watching Romeo + Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio, and I was, like, in love," Li said. "I cried, like, five times. And the soundtrack to that movie is so good ... hopefully we can do that again."
