Oh Jim Carrey. Tsk.Tsk.Tsk. Haven't you heard that Rob fans are something you don't mess with? Saying you want to drive a stake through Edward Cullen's heart, that MAY have been a BIT more successful. Well, I doubt it-but still.
I think you are losing your touch Mr.Carrey. Your jokes at the expense of Robert Pattinson turned out to be incredibly lame, and clearly not very well thought out. Maybe you should just stick to talking about yourself/whatever movie it is you're coming out with next. I love you dude, props to fellow Canadians, but seriously-just go back to the times when you said things like "In front of the good looking kid from Twilight", that was good stuff. I even think you caused hottie Rob to blush a little.
Well, regardless, stay away from the Rob jokes. You don't pull it off!
xoxo.
Rachel.
Jim Carrey has joked that he would like to "drive a stake" through Robert Pattinson's heart.
The 47-year-old actor plays Scrooge in Disney's forthcoming version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
Asked what his most Scrooge-like tendency was, Jim said: "I'm generally a live and let live sort of person but I have to tell you - I'm not only here to help present this film but to drive a stake through Robert Pattinson's heart."
"He is the undead, people," Jim added, before breaking into an impression of Pattinson playing a vampire.
The latest Twilight film, New Moon, in which Robert plays lead vampire Edward Cullen, is released in the UK on November 20, just a fortnight after Jim's latest film is released.
