Here is the complete list of winners and an interview with Kristen afterwards.  Congrats to Summit with the Hurt Locker and Anna's Up in the Air.  I like what last year's winner said, it is a huge honor, dont belittle your win just because fans voted on it.  You were picked by the industry to be nominated.

2010 BAFTA Awards Winners
The British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) were handed out today in a spectacular ceremony at London's Royal Opera House. The BAFTAs are considered the British counterpart to the Academy Awards here in the U.S., as well as an accurate bellwether. In fact, last year's awards correctly predicted many winners at the Oscars.

The Orange Rising Star Award

The British public voted actress Kristen Stewart their Orange Rising Star Award in 2010.

The Orange Rising Star Award in 2010 was presented to Kristen Stewart at the Orange British Academy Film Awards by the 2009 winner, Noel Clarke.

The Award recognises five international actors and actresses who have demonstrated exceptional talent and have begun to capture the imagination of the public as a star in the making.

The Orange Rising Star Award is unique as it remains the only Award at presented at the ceremony to be voted for by the British public.

Voting took place via text and at orange.co.uk/bafta .

Winner - Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart has been catapulted to fame by her starring role as Bella in the Twilight Saga. She has been nominated for numerous Young Artist awards for her roles in films such as Panic Room, Cold Creek Manor and Into the Wild.
