Ashley Greene chosen as one of Nylon Magazine’s 55 Faces of the Future

HollywoodNews.com: In Nylon Magazine’s May 2009 Hollywood issue, Ashley Greene is listed as one of the faces of the future.  However, it wasn’t easy for Ashley to get to where she is now.
On numerous talk shows, Ashley stated that she worked several different day jobs before breaking into the industry, including a stint at The Roosevelt Hotel, a hostess at a bowling alley and a job at The Belmont.  These jobs were a mere two and a half years ago before Ashley was propelled to stardom with “Twilight”, followed by “New Moon.”
Ashley didn’t always have the acting bug.  She wasn’t a five year old dancing around in makeup saying she wanted to be a “movie star.”  The bug hit her when she was around 15.  She convinced her parents to let her graduate early from her Jacksonville, FL high school and move to California.   From there, she auditioned for parts as small as non-speaking roles before getting a call to audition for “Twilight.”  From there, she’s taken off with roles in The ApparitionWarrior and Butter, along side Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman.
Ashley is also the face of Sobe Lifewater, with one of the pictures earning a spot in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
All of this in less than three years!
Ashley has admitted she’s accident prone (Bella, anyone?) and she’s broken her arm twice and femur once.  But, she keeps on moving ahead.  As she told Nylon, “I am a big believer that everything happens for a reason”, she says. “You have to work your butt off, but if it’s supposed to happen, it will. I’ve been very lucky, in the sense that everything has fallen into place at the right time.”
