Rachelle raises money for cancer, Chely Wright speaks out for LGBT youth

Rachelle-Lefevre.jpg
Just a small dose of fame for you this evening. It's more than enough:

October is breast cancer awareness month, and "Twilight" star Rachelle Lefevre is helping raise money for the fight against the disease, while encouraging people to lead healthier lifestyles. For every person that wears a pink item to a class at Los Angeles gym Sweat Garage, the actress promises to donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the duration of October. [Sweat Garage]

Recently out country crooner Chely Wright is already solidifying herself as an activist, teaming up with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) for its new Safe Space Kit program. The kits, which contain information for educators on the best practices for providing refuge to LGBT youth, will get their official launch at a Los Angeles area high school. [GLSEN]
'Law & Order' vet Alana de la Garza may no longer have a series, but she does have a baby. The actress gave birth to a boy, Kieran Thomas Roberts, on Sept. 28. The not-so-little tyke came in at a healthy 9 lbs, 3 oz. Mazel tov! [Latina]

Tom Cruise was spotted filming first scenes for "Mission Impossible IV" in Prague, and at nearly 50, the actor is still happily going shirtless. [People]source
