Top Romance Movies of 2011: The Five Best Upcoming Romantic Dramas

2011 is looking like a bad year to be a big fan of tear jerkers. The best romantic dramas this year don't even involve a single movie based off a Nicholas Sparks novel. In the 

most anticipated romantic dramas of 2010, movies based off Nicholas Sparks' novels took up three of the top five movies. So in this moment of sorrow, I will present you with your only hopes at finding some great romance films at the theaters in 2011. This year's most anticipated romance movies include not only another Twilight movie, but a second flick starring Robert Pattinson. If you want romantic themes that center around only a wolf or a dog and not any vampires, then we have that, too. For anybody that is looking for a movie that has nothing to do with Twilight, then there is a new movie coming to theaters based on a classic Charlotte Bronte novel. Here are the top five most anticipated romance movies of 2011.

5. Water for Elephants- All I have to say is two words; Robert Pattinson. Okay, now that I have your attention, I will add some more words. Pattinson stars with Reese Witherspoon in this April 15^th,2011, release based on a novel by Sarah Gruen.

4. Red Riding Hood - This remake of a classic tale pretty much completely differs from its original story. Almost as odd is the movie is labeled as a drama and a thriller, but not a romance. Let me be the one to re-label this. This movie has thriller aspects, but it is a romantic drama. The plot itself is a woman tore between two men. This movie could be fantastic or one of the biggest busts of the year. The hype of this movie should help it at the box office on March 11^th, but word of mouth will decide its' overall success.
1. Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 - Did you really expect to find anything other than the latest Stephenie Myer adaptation as the most anticipated romantic drama of 2011? The next chapter of Team Edward versus Team Jacob comes to the theaters on November 19^th, 2011. Before you go picking sides though, a third team has entered the saga and it threatens to destroy both other teams. The Volturi is now on the trial of Bella and Edward, and Dakota Fanning isn't trying to make friends in this movie.
