Last night the stars finally came out of their festive hibernation and hit the red carpet for the 2011 People's Choice Awards.
ELLE favourite Natalie Portman dressed her baby bump in a short and chic electric blue dress by Jason Wu. And Jennifer Aniston took to the stage sporting a Dolce and Gabbana trouser suit.
But it was the next generation of style setters who really stole the show. Kristen Stewart, who opted for a show-stopping sequin mini, has, of course, already cemented herself a place on the fashion scene. But we predict that Taylor Swift, wearing a pretty pleated dress by J Mendel, Selena Gomez in a stunning ruffled Irina Shabayeva gown and Malin Akerman who also worked J Mendel, will all be topping best dressed lists before long too.
