We've gotten it straight from the (uber-bright) horse's mouth. "American Idol" finalist Paul McDonald is dating "Twilight" franchise star Nikki Reed. In his "Idol" exit interview, Paul tells the press, "Me and Nikki Reed are dating. It's officially true. She's super-cool, she's super-smart and a really cool girl. We've been hanging out here and there, we're both pretty busy, but it's been fun so far."There has been speculation since the Idol finalists went to the "Red Riding Hood" premiere and Nikki was caught on camera ... well, gushing over Paul that the two were dating (over Skype!). We can hardly blame her, he's a cutie.
Do you think they'll last? He's going to be pretty busy with the tour this summer and she's probably going to have "Twilight" promotion and filming, but we hope these two crazy kids work it out
